A superior excellence level from all employees. All stay was perfect with all employees showing a great behavior. This is one on the superior hotels you can find in La Coruña for your business trips .
Very nice hotel at the end of La Coruña Bay, clear blue waters, very nice site. Was upgraded to a ocean-view room. Breakfast was very good, even includig cava. Was on a half-board plan and had dinner every night. It was good and drinks were not expensive. By booking through their website could get 10 Euros credit per nighr which we use during dinner for drinks. Hotel is 300m away from the best city restaurant, "El de Alberto" which is a must in La Coruña. Parking costs 20 Euros a night, but with Melia Rewards it is 16 Euros a night. Would come back.
We liked a lot the view and the room but usually Melia Hotels offer good quality of service and room. So to me the most value here is the location in front of the beach and near to the center, nice to go walking to almost all the sightseeing.
But only if you pay extra but even without you still can walk a short distance to get there. Great spaces, built for elegance, but starting to fray in a few spots, tile grout in bathroom, a few scuff marks on the wall in hallway, petty but in a lux hotel you expect these details to be taken care of. Clean spaces, attentive staff, and comfy beds (with nice linens). Do over but with the view.
I've stayed here a few times now, it's always my hotel of choice in A Coruña. Very nice rooms with a great view, a big comfortable bed and generally well equipped but a rather small bath and no tea/coffee making stuff.
A classy hotel with great amenities and service in the heart of the city. Could not be more happy and appreciative with my stay. The rooms, public spaces, breakfast room and restaurant all contributed to a warm and friendly visit. Would recommend it to anyone visiting A Coruna!
Nice hotel, very good location, everything was near; restaurangs, bars, bus stop etc. By the way; Best regards to Elena. We don't have a possibility to thank her; room 321 week 6.11.-12.11.2016. Your heart is gold, thank you!
This is the usual hotel I stay in when I come to La Coruña. The rooms are really nice and clean . Their restaurant serves very good food. Breakfast could be a little better with more basic offerings instead of the refined finger food style portions. The service is great I even found a happy birthday sweets dish with a note from management when I got back from my meetings . This shows they do the little extra to make your stay perfect . The location it's best feature, its right on the beach front amazing views ... I highly recommend this hotel.
The hotel is located on the beach with fantastic views across the bay and back to the city. The staff are very friendly. English language is not always understood at first but they manage to come up with what you were after.
The location was very good as it was about a 15 minute walk to most things on that side of town. The room was very large, as we had a suite; HOWEVER, you had to walk a spiral stairway from the "living quarters" to get up to the bedroom area and bathroom. We thought that was a bit awkward, but got used to it after a day. We're in our 60's & in good shape but sometimes it was just a pain to walk up the stairs. There was a lovely terrace with chairs and towels and we definitely enjoyed that every day. Breakfast was included AND really good! Incredibly wide selection of food and even after 4 mornings, we didn't have that usual, "tire of the same food" because there were new selections all the time. The only negative was that the front reception desk was often crowded if you had a question you had to ask. They could use more staff there, but when it WAS your turn they were very helpful and patient. I would def stay there again if I was returning.
