Stayed with my wife on our visit to the catalan city. I would suggest this hotel if you are visiting the barcelona stadium as it is just a few meters from the hotel. They had a nice but small breakfast room and also has shops around to get few groceries and i macdonalds i visited very late in the night once
Pretty average hotel, nothing special. Rooms are clean however very noisy - all street noise has been heard. Breakfast - again below average (e.g. no possibility to order special requests like fried eggs). No extra services to classify the hotel as 4-star hotel. And on top of it: I stayed in the hotel during MWC and I could understand prices higher than usual however 10 times higher?- is MWC justify such price - really doubt it's moral and fair to hotel guests. No effort from the hotel to treat such customers who paid this (huge price) at least with some special approach e.g. none complimentary services have been offered. In short: I would not recommended - I am sure you are able much better place for staying in Barcelona.
I've been here for three nights, because I was attending a conference at the UPC. The hotel is very well located, within walking distance of UPC, UB, and UAB, and also very close to one of the stops of the metro L9S line, which goes direct to the airport in 30 minutes. The rooms are ok, and the breakfast is continental, with an adequated variety. The staff is helpful, and no major problems were detected. I also had dinner there one night, and it was splendid.
- I booked a apartment but was very smelly but once I reached to the reception they helped me out by giving 2 room sin the hotel. - A fantastic hotel with friendly people. Will definitely return. - My kids really enjoyed the hospitality given by each as they feel it was like home. - BF is lovely. - Relaxing atmosphere.
Will definitely return. Friendly & Helpful. 24 hr :-) Metro just outside. Collblanc. Jump on Train outside airport €4.10. It only goes 1 way!!! Get off at Santos then L5 to Collblanc. About 35 mins. Food is lovely and not expensive. Relaxing atmosphere.
Booked this hotel in advance of a special Birthday trip to Camp Nou. It's location is fantastic if your planning to watch a game or just visit the stadium, couple of minutes walk and your there. Some interesting restaurants around the area, some great little cafes. The lobby is small but functional, rooms are clean, the staff friendly. I checked in around 8.00pm, and there were no issues, only thing in the room that I had an issue with was the safe. It never got fixed, it seems they were let down by their maintenance guy, not a big issue for me. Didn't eat breakfast or dinner there, so cannot comment. Would stay there again for the football, seemed to be more of trek if you needed to go into central Barcelona.
I would not rate this as 4*. It is a pleasant hotel, very clean, but things that were supposed to be there were not and the staff were very aware of this but nothing was done. Firstly it states that the café/bar is open 24hours .It is not. We came back in a taxi from the centre at 11.40pm to spend some time in the hotel bar but it stopped serving at 11.30 even for residents. The receptionist said she knew it said "24 hour" but this was wrong. Second night went to order room service, available until 11pm as stated on the menu in our room but were told we could only eat from the restaurant menu which we had to go to reception for. This was a 2 course set menu and totally unsuitable. There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room as shown and when we asked for a fan for the room as it was 31 degrees (the air con goes off when you remove the key and the room was like an oven) we were told they didn't have one. Not great service on any level and at best misleading!
Late night check in went smoothly, room clean and tidy, adequate size, would recommend, staff very friendly and helpful. Also very knowledgeable, would definitely return again, Camp Nou visible from 4th floor window, no noise from main road, lift to all floors.
Madanis Hotel offered us clean and light rooms. It's close to the Collblac metro station, and you can easily hop on buses nearby , but it takes a while to reach the centre. The staff is always polite and very helpful.Overall quite satisfied with the service, but I would go for a more centred location on my next visit!
Very good location. Near to the center, amazing rooms, great food, great staff. They booked us tickets to flamenco shows, great show, great seats, good prices. This hotel is perfect for a city break in Barcelona
