I spent 6 nights at hotel during busy season in Kyoto this November 2018 . Stayed in a suite paid close to $750 a night . Did not get the suite experience . One bathroom for suite . The bathroom and shower facility felt like I was in cruise ship . Cheap plastic/ synthetic floors and walls . Stingy on places to place hand towels or peripherals . Struggling to find outlets to charge your phones without un plugging your night light stand. TV in living room does not tilt so I you want to watch TV in comfort of your bed, it’s not possible since there was only on TV in suite Staff was friendly and courteous but was extremely difficult to communicate with them in English . Lobby had a poor design. If you need to speak to concierge or anything it’s the front desk only and if there are few customers checking in or checking out ,you will have to stand there for 20 min or so. I ended up depending on google and search engines to plan my day.given basic English skills of staff and lobby environment it’s was virtually impossible to find comfort . If you are planning to stay in style in a suite in Kyoto Run away , go somewhere else . Don’t stay here it’s not worth the $$$$

Hotel staff very helpful and friendly, rooms were stylish, cozy and clean with excellent amenities. Hotel close proximity to Kyoto Imperial Palace, subway and bus lines. Quick eats (Sukiya, McD’s and Family Mart) right outside as well as their own Western and Japanese sit down restaurants. All in all a good experience.

Awesome value and location! Room was nice, clean and seemed fairly new. Space was plentiful for Japanese standards. Free breakfast was great as well!

Great location and friendly staff. Excellent room, especially for the price.
