The Great. We stayed one night and even though the property is huge and used to be beautiful the room was dirty. Breakfast is amazing with so many different options to choose from and it takes place in a beautiful dinning salon. The chef even prepared some gluten free cakes for us. The Good. The room and bathroom was huge so we had a lot of space. The hotel es great situated just a 2 minute walk to the sea and right beside a supermarket, stores and restaurants. The Bad. Our room was dirty. Even the spoon and glasses were dirty. You can see the opulence in the hotel but how it is decaying. The smell at the entrance and lobby is really overpowering.

A 4-star hotel that absolutely deserves 5 stars from us! 🌟 From start to finish, everything was excellent – incredibly friendly and professional staff, a fantastic location in the heart of Liburnia, clean and comfortable rooms, and a rich, tasty selection of food for both breakfast and dinner. It is one of the most beautiful hotels I had ever stayed. Its onside and outside architecture is unbelievable The room was big and one could find there everything to make a customer happy: flip flops, robes, toiletries, tea, coffee, balcony. The breakfas buffet just blowed my mind. So many different food stations and quality of food was great.

This property needs a little uplifting. The hallways and the room we had were very dull and a little dark. There were no flowers as per the picture on Expedia. The entrance was cold and unwelcomimg. Breakfast was fabulous and the bed was very comfortable.

Loved our stay at this beautiful heritage hotel. The room was large with a balcony overlooking the main road and ocean. Beautiful furnishings. Breakfast was spectacular. Parking was 25 euros a day and not close by. Recommend eating at Lumber restaurant about 5 / 10 min walk away.

An excellent choice for when you are staying in Opatija. The hotel is grand, very central and well equipped with all the amenities. Hotel is located in a good location. Very walkable to plenty of places to eat. Room was huge, with plenty of place for luggage. Front desk was pleasant and easy to deal with. The buffet breakfast was amazing with plenty of options for every taste.
