Love the Kuching Hilton and I stay every time I travel to the region. It's absolutely the best hotel in Kuching! The property is getting a little tired though. Exterior needs a fresh painting, and the halls and rooms are getting a bit run down. The staff is always great. I heartily recommend the Kuching Hilton.
I've been staying in this hotel for years. Awesome location. But the place has gradually deteriorated. The gym and pool are dirty and a health hazard - the staff watch you work out through an opaque window. The rooms were partly redone, but the smell of mildew pervades. Service is patchy. No wireless internet - ugh, it's almost 2014. Restaurant hasn't changed in 15 years - breakfast buffet is very mediocre.
