I had a late check in and I asked for late check out and they did it for me with no problem. One thing is that I would say is don't wait for the last shuttle from the First World to Awana, it never showed. Other than that the place was decent for what I saw.

The hotel is located near the Genting Skyway, free shuttle from/to the Skyway everyday. There are a lot of thing you can do around the hotel, like golfing, hiking or just stay inside and have fun with family. It's a little bit old but it's still a nice place to stay near by the highland.

We stayed at the one bedroom condo at Awana Hotel. The room does not have any aircon and the fan speed is slow. Years back Genting is cold so I think the hotel does not install any aircon at this room category. However, nowadays Genting is not that cold anymore. The hotel should review the comfort of the room again.

It was alright. The hotel is not located where the all the fun is on the Genting Highlands mountain. You have to take the cable lift to go up to where all the hotels are.

The hotel is quite peaceful with a nice golf course. Rooms are big with a nice view. Clean, with extensive free buffet breakfast and a good korean restaurant. Downside is it is located downhill from Genting proper and access to Genting is via free shuttle or cable car.

Once again..DO NOT STAY HERE. Actually, don't even bother going to Genting Highlands. My boyfriend and I are Americans and at first we thought we just expected too much because we have been spoiled by Las Vegas, but no...it was so much more than that. First off, it is very hard to get to and confusing. You have to take like three different vomit smelling buses just to get there. Secondly, the Awana hotel isn't even close to the casinos at all and you have to take all these crowded buses to get up there. We were there on a weekend and we tried to see what was going on in the hotel bar. Answer...not a thing. We were pretty much the only ones in the bar the whole night..on a FRIDAY. The staff wasnt friendly. The room were hot with no AC and they were filthy. The whole city is grungy and old. Tacky spot. I highly advise you to not waste your time going here. We were supposed to stay for two nights and we ended up just leaving after the first day. And of course..the hotel wouldnt even think of refunding our second night to us. DONNTTT GOOO HERE!!
