This is quite an old hotel but well maintained. From my observation, It caters a lot of mainland tourist groups and airlines companies. For room wise , nothing much to highlight. The club room layout and size and exactly same as normal room just that comes with better finishes and access to club room. Breakfast is ok and noticed that they separated the tourist group to the function for breakfast. Was thinking to run on treadmill of hotel gym room early morning but was not opened until 8am, ended out jogging at the nearby reservoir outside hotel compound which turned out to be a better option.
On a return visit to the Subang area outside Kuala Lumpur, I stayed at this hotel, which appeared familiar. Later I realised that I had stayed here over 10 years ago when it was a Sheraton. The change has not affected the hotel and its facilities. The Reception staff were friendly and helpful. My room was very comfortable and all the services, such as breakfast, were great.
Very bad experience first time in this hotel, first room check in lots of ants, wait for half an hour only get the 2nd room key, 2nd room, a lot of stain on the wall, wet toilet roll , dirt on the toilet door, stain on the bed sheet and most of the lights was not functioning, even the engineering personnel advise us to change the room cos too many malfunction ...3rd room , everything was ok but room housekeeping need to be improve, stain on writing table , most of the glass table was stained too, room need to refurbish. Photos attached are the 2nd room condition.
I spent 4 nights recently in Grand Dorsett Subang, I had booked the Dorset room but upon check in they upgraded me which was a wonderful gesture. The room was a good size and the complimentary wifi works well The Staff are very courteous, friendly and nice. The breakfast buffet is amazing with a choice of different cuisine stations. The bed was large and comfortable. and I feel relaxed staying there and this was my 3rd time there. Surely would go back next time again.
Service is beyond expectation, hotel staff are friendly and helpful. They would make you feel home and I feel so. Food is the best in term of quality and taste. The room is super clean with full amenities and if you want something more, just let them know. - best rate in town - best property - service is bestest - overall: strongly recommended
Was having our annual residential college dinner at 21 April 2018. It was a chinese cuisine, where it came with chopsticks. All I can say is the waiter is RUDE! When they want to change a new plate, they just 'throw' the chopstick on the table, while there is a chopstick holder beside it. At the same time, it was served with hot tea and iced cordial. The waiter poured the hot tea as if 'showering' the plant, making drips on plate, and not a single sorry. The first dish is terrible, how come a starter has cold and cooked stuff in a single plate? And, the serving is not even enough for 10 people. As part of my table, there is a vegetarian. The food for vegetarians, I would describe as fine dining, as if the food is for cat, 3 pieces for each servings? All in all, terrible service from the waiter. But, I could observe that there is a vast difference in terms of service for VIP table and NON-VIP table, should it be like that? Aren't we humans at the end of the day? Plus point is the surrounding is nice. My rating would be 4 if the services is on-par.
I spent 3 nights recently in Grand Dorsett Subang, I had Junior Suite room, have a balcony and swimming pool view. The room was a good size, and there was a complimentary wifi and a handy phone to use for internet access in the room. The hotel provides free shuttle bus to go to Sunway Pyramid, Subang Parade (nearest mall to the hotel about 10mins) and Subang LRT Station. There's a schedules to drop-off & pick up (have to book first at the concierge). The Staffs are very friendly and nice. I feel comfortable staying there and would like to go back again. I wanted to thank you to Mr. Zairul and team for the arrangement and your services while we were staying there.. Hope to see you guys again
I have stayed at this excellent hotel a number of times over the years. Some people might mark it down for it’s location, but it’s close enough to the madness of KL city centre, but not too far away either. The staff are very friendly, and most helpful. The standard of the rooms is excellent. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you don’t like being in the city centre.
A clean, comfortable. safe enviroment for families and very excellenthelpful mates who portray themselves as staff. Thanking Conceirge, Front Office and Terrazzo Associatesfor their exemplary and friendly service. Thanking all concerned Regards Ralph
I went for a dinner with all my residential college's mate. The dishes were really sucked and it was totally worth the price too. The price was RM200 per person and the dishes were like only RM50 per person. At Johor Bahru, I can get more than that at a cheaper price. Besides, the attitude of the waiters/waitresses were very bad. When I was taking the dishes, the waiters/waitresses took away the dishes without asking me. My drinks were not refilled by them until they are told to refill. When changing the new plates, the waiters/waitresses changed us the dirty plates which we are shocked. This was the first time most of us were dining at the restaurant and maybe the last time too if the quality does not change.
