The arrival was nice the staff are friendly and professional. I was lucky that it was a busy weekend and I was upgraded to a super deluxe room(769). The normal as expected hotel standard things are there, the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. Alas, the bathroom left me surprised, the size is good the weird window to the room can be covered by an automated blind but the mould in the door still and the marble left me wondering. I know for S$70+ I received far more than I expected. But the bad indication for the ceiling fan just outside the bathroom door is probably the reason that the steam builds up in the bathroom and causes the mould. Once the mould and rust in the ceiling is cleared up, this is a very nice hotel. Great food good entertainment. I would recommend staying there.
This was my first time to Malaysia and also my first time to stay in Dorsett group hotel. I was very impressive of their hotel services, as all their service staff I met, were very cheerful, attentive and in good smile. Room was very spacious and comfortable, food at their cafe was just delicious, especially I love their club floor lounge, it is a very nice place to relax with some drinks and food. Great hotel and staff !!!
Comfortable hotel where we stayed 3 nights, with big, clean rooms and very kind and helpful staff. Breakfast buffet offers acceptable variety of foods, Asian and Western. Nice place to stay for business, with few things to do in the surrounding s
Positive staff providing hotel guest with a homely feel. Staff just like Maria was willing to get feedback from guest which benefits the hotel. The rooms are good and very comfortable. The food is good and it always brings me back
The hotel offers very fast wifi, super comfy bed n pillows! They have a swimming pool, but we are too rush to check it out. The front counter are very friendly & helpful. We have been driving all the way down frm Penang at night, and reach the hotel in exhausted condition at 10am. Farah is super friendly at helping us arrange early check in, so we can take a rest before appointment at the noon. There is a hospital next to the location as well as convenient mart & restaurants.
I was there for a seminar and whilst the hotel didn't particularly stand out for me by itself, its service staff definitely did. From check in to check out, it was smooth and efficient. It was the month of Ramadan when I was there, and even though I did not dine at the hotel restaurant, I requested for some dates for a friend who was Muslim, the hotel staff were more than generous and gave us a whole plate! The banquet and AV staff were very on the ball as well, making our seminar a very pleasant experience. Would definitely go back.
We and the kids had repeated our stay at Dorsett Grand Subang back in March this year and last weekend again since the last time we pen down our humble experiences about this wonderful hotel on trip advisor. Back in March 2017 we stayed in their CLUB Room for 2 nights which was indeed a very nice experience for us and the kids. Star Employee goes out to the CLUB concierge service personnel Mr. Macloud and also to the doorman Mr. Murugan. Macloud’s service and attention given to us during our stay was much appreciated. Murugan is also someone that our kids has become familiar with. But all in all, the staffs at Dorsett have been very kind and attentive also, many thanks to them. We have also stayed in some other hotels but we still prefer Dorsett because our kids just simply like the wadding pool. It is clean and safe as parents can observe their children from just beside the pool deck. CLUB room is definitely a type of room that is worth the stay. Club Room guest are accorded the use of the CLUB lounge where drinks are free flow and there are even juices plus hot chocolate for the little ones. The minibar inside the Club Room is also well stocked with drinks and snacks which are complimentary. Guest can choose to dine at the Club Lounge for a quiet dining experience or go downstairs to the restaurant at Lower Ground for a wider selection of local and international buffet cuisine. Our latest stay last weekend at their deluxe room was also equally satisfying and star employee still goes out to Murugan and Rosli at reception. Murugan was both surprised and delighted to see us again too and our feeling was likewise. It is always good to see familiar faces. The rooms here are generally clean and well maintained, at least for the many ones that we have stayed in before. The common area air conditioning are comfortably cold and lobbies plus corridors are clean too. We have always felt that “Dorsett is home away from home” Next round we are targeting to stay in the suites and that should also bring a whole new level of experience to us too, meantime its time to start saving money again for our next trip here. Thank you

I stayed at the Dorsett Grand Subang in Kuala Lumpur for five nights for a conference. My stay was quite comfortable in all respects: room, food, and gym. As I will say below--the hotel is a bit far from the typical tourist sights and the airport. The hotel is adjacent to a major medical facility. I believe there is a shopping mall nearby. Hotel reception staff were typically friendly and welcoming. I was checked in very quickly and efficiently. Same with checkout. The concierge was very helpful when we needed assistance. The room was large and with a nice bed--big and comfortable. The shower too was large although it did not drain well. Fortunately I take short showers so this was not a problem for me. Long showers would definitely warrant a call to the front desk. My colleague and I noted the carpet was a bit worn in places on the floors and a couple of things didn't work in her room: the toilet for one. There were tea and instant coffee facilities in the room. Breakfast was very nice--extensive array of dishes from which to choose. There's an omelette bar and a noodle bar. There was fresh fruit and yogurt. The coffee keeps coming and it was pretty good. We ate at the bar a couple of times. The curry and other dishes we had were good. Nothing great, but good and filling. Beer is expensive but we were in a hotel. The gym was of sufficient size for the hotel-- never crowded. It was adequately equipped with cardio machines and a separate and a small weight area. The gym looked out over a garden area. The outdoor pool was being upgraded while I was there. Wifi was free. TV had several western channels. The location of this hotel is a bit of a problem if you are on vacation or want to sightsee as it is quite far from everywhere. We went to the Petronas Towers, Chinatown, and the Batu Caves. Each time the cab ride was over 30 minutes and it is about an hour from the airport with no traffic. Three / three and a half stars
Greeted with a sweet smell, this hotel has proved its worth as a 5 star hotel. Clean rooms / superb amenities (should definitely go for the sauna or a dip in the Swimming pool!!!).. Breakfast is good and opposite the hotel has some restaurants / places to buy food, if ur interested.. My personal fav is the burger Ramli (usually a cart that appears after 7PM onwards..) my personal fav hotel to stay.. :)
