Our room was on the top floor. When we got there the blinds in the sky lights in the ceiling were open letting the sun heat the room. This resulted in extremely hot temperature in the room in addition to the outside temperature in Krakow being 30 degrees. The air conditioner did not work. The manager attempted to provide different rooms at another property which were not satisfactory to us since 1 of the rooms did not have air conditioning and in the other property the 2 of us would not be in the same room. Not pleased with this hotel at all.
Best thing about hotel is a wonderful location in the Jewish quarter of Krakow. Modest accommodations - no elevator, no air conditioning, but helpful staff and good breakfast.
excellent location. the hotel needs to be clear about rooms offered. the room I first got was so tiny I could hardly move and there was no closet--just four hangers on the wall. It also had very low ceiling. Nor did I get wi-fi signal in the room. I complained and the next day I was offered another, a more regular, room. Breakfast is ample, but it starts a kind of late, at 7:30am.
This was an excellent value in a great location and a fantastic quality room. Only advice: if you have lots of luggage, ask for a room on the ground or first floor because the stairs are a killer!
