This hotel is in an absolutely fantastic location for exploring Kraków, right in the heart of things literally a stones throw away from the main square. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and modern and the rooms were very fairly priced. Can’t have a bad word to say about it as a place to stay for a city break. Also there’s is a fantastic restaurant that’s not apart of the hotel but connected to it by a little courtyard out the back. Would highly recommend eating there to sample all the local cuisine.
Three star, basic and clean hotel but brilliant location. Just off the main Market Square on one of the most historic streets in Krakow, it could not be in a better place for exploring the city. Some rooms overlook the street and therefore can be noisy at night, most of the rooms however, overlook an interior courtyard and are much quieter. Rooms are clean and functional, the toilet and shower were very good indeed. Breakfast is good, a reasonable variety of food for a three star hotel in a historic European city so as long as your expectations are at that level, you'll be fine. Staff are friendly and helpful. We booked out trips to Auschwitz and the Salt Mines via reception and the prices were reasonable. You might find them cheaper elsewhere but the company they use come and collect you at the hotel (they are parked a couple of minutes away) so you don't get lost trying to find a pick up point. You need to pay for the trips in CASH, so be ready for that. Overall, I am pleased we chose this hotel, and I would recommend it as an ideal location to explore the Market Square (just a few metres away) and the Wawel Hill areas (5-10 min walk away). Could not have chosen a better located base.
Lovely hotel with charm. Great location on the main street just outside the main square. Friendly and helpful staff. Only downside was the street noise but they do provide ear plugs! Standard breakfast provided at nearby restaurant, different items each day. Adequate size room, very clean and tidy. Always smelt fresh and clean when you entered the building. Perfectly positioned for restaurants and shops, etc. Would recommend.
myself and partner had a great few nights away . the hotel was very clean , breakfast was delicious , staff friendly and just a few seconds away from the square. also great shops all around it ideal location. would definately be back and recommend it to anyone
Not the accommodation booked by Agent Daily Mail which should have been a superior single, but a dark double room and on first night noticed a small creature on duvet. Realising it was a bed bug, I searched and found lots of others. As it was very late at night I did not want to change rooms, however, when they started to bite I phoned and a young staff lad was shocked when showed it to him. Took me to another part of hotel in room I should have had which meant going outside in the snow. Asked for compensation from manageress was offered coffee and cake.
We have just returned from a 4 night stay at The Rezydent hotel in Krakow. It is perfectly situated off the main Market square in Krakow. The hotel is spotlessly clean, maid service everyday. The room was very spacious ,and bathroom huge. The staff are very warm, friendly, welcoming ,hard working and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel ,for a very enjoyable stay in beautiful Krakow. Hotel taxi service is available ,and reasonably priced ,just e-mail hotel beforehand. They do respond very quickly. I hope to return to Krakow ,and the Rezydent hotel in the future.
Clean, near shops and pubs, food basic for breakfast, restaurants good food, segway was brilliant.the part of hotel I was in with friends was stairs only, no use for older people, struggled to get suitcase up & down stairs,
The location of the hotel is the main selling point of the hotel. Less than 100 metres from Krakow main square. Plenty of restaurants and bars within a short walking distance from the hotel. The hotel is very responsive to emails having sent them some a few months in advance before we arrived. The hotel offer trips to Auschwitz, Birkenau & Salt Mine in case you wanted to book direct with them. Complimentary water is left in the room for you which is a nice touch. Overall, it was a comfortable and lovely stay at the hotel, would recommend to anyone looking at a city break to Krakow.
Seven day break with my wife at the Rezydent Hotel and have to say loved the hotel and Krakow. We stayed in room 76 on the third floor and I have to say it was very nice, we had no view from our window but then we didn’t ask for one. The hotel was spotlessly clean and staff helpful and friendly, spacious bathroom with a great shower, cleaners came in every day changed the towels and made the beds. Rooms come with complimentary tea, coffee and bottled water. Breakfast was in the restaurant Marmalade a few doors away, have to say enjoyed breakfast something for everyone. The hotel is in the perfect location, out of the hotel and about a minute walk to the main square and all the sites. I contacted the hotel via email a good month before we travelled and asked about trips to Auschwitz, Birkenau and the Salt Mine. They responded straight away with prices and booked the days we requested confirming again via email. I would definitely stay at the Rezydent again, thank you.
Stayed here for 4 nights, we were in room 56 it was very quiet. The room was pleasant, the beds were made for us everyday. The bath towels were changed if needed. Staff were friendly. Ideal location just next to the town square with loads of shops and restaurants all in a good place to stay.
