4 nights at this hotel for a city break to krakow with a friend. The hotel is in the perfect location. Two minutes from the main square and all the sights. We were allocated room 42 which was on the first floor overlooking the Main Street. The hotel provide ear plugs on the bedside table which was a sign of what was to come! The room was very noisy at night but the ear plugs worked a treat and I had no problems getting a good night sleep. Only certain parts of the hotel (not ours) have lift access so might be worth requesting a room with lift access if you have mobility issues as the stairs would be a challenge if you were in a room on the top floor! Overall happy with this hotel and would stay again if I visited krakow!
Our stay here was great. The hotel was spotlessly clean and staff helpful and friendly. The only downside was that there is only one lift and this doesn’t go to all the rooms. We had to climb 3 fights of stairs to our room. I was aware of this before I booked and to be honest I needed the exercise after all the wonderful food that i’d eaten
Lovely hotel. Great location just off the main Square. We had a room on the 4th floor no 81. No lift so not for the faint hearted. Definitely kept us fit. Room everything we expected. Lovely bathroom with a great shower, cleaners in everyday to make the beds and change the towels. Breakfast was in the restaurant next door. Everything you expect from a continental, with a good selection to choose from. Had a great stay
Stayed here on a 3 night visit, part of a package. Room was comfortable and bathroom looked like it was recently refurbished. Staff friendly and helpful, good breakfast served a few doors up the street. Only problem was the noise outside - the good people of Krakow don't go to bed early or quietly and there are lots of deliveries from about 6.30 in the morning. So try to get a room at the back of the hotel. That aside, really enjoyed my stay and the location is great for the city square and Old Town.
This hotel is situated about 20 metres from the main market square so is in an ideal location. Our room was large and kept spotless. There was tea and coffee facilities but no milk which wasn’t a big deal. Shower room was large and modern with plenty of hot water and a decent shower. Room was cosy which was nice as it was cold outside. All staff polite and friendly. The only downside for me was that we had a room at the back on the first floor which meant it was very dark, had no view and could be overlooked by other rooms. The upside was that it was quiet. Given the amount of time we spent in the room on our weekend break so it didn’t really spoil the weekend. Breakfast was next door at the Marmalade Restaurant. This was mainly continental although there was a hot option of scrambled eggs and local sausage. For the money we paid and our three breakfasts it was adequate.
Fairly basic but a nice hotel nonetheless. All the basics are catered for which is all o really wanted or needed. The only thing I can say bad though is I had a room overlooking the street and it was quite noisy at night, they did supply earplugs to counter this but it was still a little noisy
Very welcoming reception and staff. Big spacious room with sofa. Plenty of storage and massive shower. Think we were in the disabled room but you could not tell particularly. Room was kept spotlessly clean. Ask for a quiet room as our friends had a noisy room at the front. Plenty of breakfast but it is continental. Sprouts one morning!! Will be staying again. Top tip. Do NOT use the currency exchange next door. What they give you is not what is advertised in the front window.
Very central just a minute off the main square so very central. Staff are polite and helpful. Breakfast is in the adjoining Marmalade restaurant and is adequate. We found the room very warm and no heating controls. And also in some parts with no lift access it can prove difficult but overall a good hotel in a superb location!! Oh it can get very noisy late at night......earplug a bonus!!!
The clerks were not friendly and had to be prodded to help with bus schedules. The room was clean although I had to ask for another pillow because they were quite unfluffy shall I say? It came quickly with a slight bow and no smile, however. There were ear plugs on the night stand as I had a street side room and there is noise from revelers as well as the clopping of the horses that pull the carriages for rides from the old town square which is a hop, skip and a jump away. The breakfast was to die for at the restaurant several doors down called Marmolada. There was crepes, 2 types of eggs, 4 types of juices along with coffee (no decaf) and tea, fruit, cold cereal, sausages and lots of other foodie items. I would stay here again due to the price and location, not the service, however.
This is our second visit to this hotel and this time we visited as a group of 11. The location is perfect, just off the main square. Rooms are clean and spacious and cleaned each day. Staff were extremely helpful prior to arriving, when I had a few questions and they managed to get all rooms close together. We were on the 1st floor and were able to access this via a lift. Breakfast is in the nearby Marmolada restaurant and has a variety of food on offer; cereal, sausages, bread, fruit. The hotel are able to arrange trips and airport transfers - they are very quick to reply to emails. They can also provide a lunch pack for day tips. We love Krakow and will definitely be visiting again - we wouldn't stay anywhere else but this hotel. Thank you to all staff at Rezydent Hotel!
