Our stay at Alisea was definitely made by the staff! They were very knowledgeable and helpful. Brekkie was amazing - great selection, eggs cooked to order, they even packaged us something to go before our early morning flight. Also, take advantage of the shuttle to the beach club!!
The Alisea is a well priced hotel, with a great pool and view. It is in a good location just off the main drag which means it's quiet. We loved the staff who were friendly and helpful. The room was more than comfortable with all the things need including a safe, toiletries and tea and coffee facilities. The beds were very comfortable good quality towels etc. One thing I would change is that our room had no information pack but merely a list of what the contents were valued at. I guess they are used to people breaking things, but we soon learned what we needed to from the staff. Great place am going back again on the way back from our island travels.
Me and my girlfriend initially planned to stay at the hotel for 3 nights. However, after being very impressed with the hotel, staff and food we decided to book an extra 3 nights. We paid the extra for breakfast which equalled out to be an extra £5 or so for 6 nights each, which is incredible for how good it was. The pool was perfect size and a great place to chill in the sun. With many restaurants and shops only a 5/10 minute walk the hotel was in a perfect location for us. I can't thank the staff enough for all their hospitality during our stay, they made our time the best we have had in Thailand. If you're looking for a clean, smart, well located hotel with helpful staff and good food then don't hesitate in booking this place. For the price, it's a no brainer. Also, the walk in shower is amazing! Thank you!
Amazing hotel and even better infinity pool with view. And budget friendly! Best hotel for the price, and our best hotel experience in Thailand in three weeks! Comfy beds, awesome showers, good AC and wifi- no missing pieces here.
The AliSea is a wonderful place: lovely and extremely welcoming and helpful staff, stylish rooms with fancy walk-in showers featuring a glass front looking out into the bedroom (with curtains for privacy), a great infinity pool perfect for relaxing and enjoying the stunning sunset and scenery in general sipping a delicious long-drink (fantastic happy-hour deals!!). The side street it is located on is relatively quiet and has two massage places, two restaurants (one of them is a tiny, tiny hole-in-the-wall-place with incredibly lovely staff who also happen to run the massage shop next to it - try both of them out!!), a 7-11 supermarket and a wee travel agency. The beach front is a 5-minute walk away (either to the much nicer Ao Nang Beach and to Nopparat Thara, where you can catch a longboat to the jaw-droppingly beautiful Railay Beach West) and there are plenty of delicious restaurants and little food stalls on the way. Our stay at the AliSea was so nice and relaxing that we ended up adjusting our itinerary and staying 4 nights instead of only 2. It was a truly welcome change to some of the more "basic" hotels we'd stayed before which also looked great online. This one turned out to be even better than it looked online :D So if you're considering staying there: Go for it, it really is a great place to unwind. All thumbs up :))
We came to Alisea eager to turn around a vacation marred by rains and illness elsewhere and were not at all disappointed. After reading some reviews we were concerned about service and the hotel being dated, but honestly we couldn't love the facilities and mountainesque theme of Alisea more. We were greeted with a lovely welcome juice, refreshing after a long trip and escorted to our room on the same floor as the pool. It's so close we can walk barefoot down the short corridor and dive right in! There were no queen bedrooms available so our first night we took a twin room and then while we were out on a snorkel and island tour the next day, the hotel relocated us across the hall to our new queen room. We did not stay in a loft. The twin room was spacious albeit ask for rooms not facing the construction if you can. We were out of the room so the noise was no real problem and stops at about 5, but we had to keep curtains drawn because the construction workers could see right in the room while we were changing. Twin beds are rock hard FYI! The queen room was likewise spacious with a MUCH more comfy queen bed. Both rooms had rainfall showers with lovely slate tile that we adore and balconies to step out on and let in fresh air. TV has limited English channels but we're not here for TV anyway! The pool is small as many have noted but during May low season there was plenty of room for everyone who wanted to hop in after a long day out, including loungers around the perimeter. Excellent backdrop over the town to the cliffs in the distance at sunset. Nice music and the poolside bar made for a perfect early evening activity not to mention the 16:30-17:30 happy hour consisting of a cocktail (180-220thb) followed by free beer (80-90thb value at the bar) or soda. Breakfast is plentiful with Thai and standard Western fare including made to order omelettes. Lots of fresh fruit and espresso maker as well. We were quite happy with the spread given that we wanted to be able to eat and hop onto excursions easily without searching for food. You could easily find cheaper Thai breakfast nearby if you wanted. This time of year it's quite rainy off and on but showers come fast and furious and typically pass just as quickly. Overall, were super happy with our choice. Krabi and Ao Nang in particular really turned around our vacation. We're easygoing travelers with high standards given how much we research before we pick a place. Especially for the low season price (1,000thb/night or 1,300 with breakfast), we were plenty pleased to stay at Alisea and will definitely come again!
A reasonable standard hotel for the price in walking distance of the beach and restaurants. Staff were helpful and friendly, while there is no lift the porter carried our luggage up stairs to our room. We would happily return when visiting Ao Nang.
We stayed for 4day 3 nights , we did late check in , staff are friendly and helpful . Booked 2 rooms located at 2nd floor, room were clean and specious plus quite environment. At the 3rd floor there is bar & swimming pool for kids and adult , not so big yet it's perfect for relaxing ourself with kids .. my kids love swimming .. Alisea boutique fantastic location at Aonang beach area , it's just walking distance between beach, food stall and night life clubs .. Just down across the road the is 7' eleven was great bonus... easy to buy things ... Well maintained, clean , design are 👍. It's my choice whenever visit KRABI
We were transferred to this hotel after a mix up with our booking at the Alisea Pool Villas. While the hotel was not up to the standard of the newly refurbished Pool Villas it was clean with a lovely pool and fantastic staff. Yes building work right next door so request a room on the other side if possible but didn't affect time spent around the pool. Breakfast was ok and nothing more. Fantastic steet food just a short walk down the road.
