Super nice location! Walking distance to restaurants, beach, shopping. Our 2 bedroom was very big , nice equipped (also washing machine ;o) and clean 👌 Staff are extremely helpful and friendly .... and good to see a maintenance team on the facilities. We will be back soon

Great place to stay and relax and very affordable. Highly recommend a deluxe sweet, comes with your own pool. Really close to the beach and loads of great places to eat. Recommend hiring a scooter to get around and experience all beaches close by. Perfect place to catch the sunset with cocktails.

It is a condominium building that is mostly empty. Balcony doors would not lock in the room. Service came to provide a temporary fix during our stay. Staff was very nice.

I have mixed feelings about this property. The staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. My unit was clean and the bed was comfortable. The property itself is in need of a major cash infusion to do necessary repairs to the exteriors of the buildings. I think covid hit this property hard. There was an obvious broken pipe in my building as water was leaking from random places all the time which may have contributed to the sewer smell that came from the kitchen sink. I really hope the property managers can figure things out because it would be a shame to see this once lovely property go to ruin.

While staying at The Pelican I received a very mixed experience. Firstly we organised to be picked up by the hotel from the airport, this did not happen. After landing and collecting our bags at KBV, I messaged the driver to inform him of our arrival and check where he was. After already waiting for an hour in the airport I was informed he would be at least another hour. I decided to cancel and got a taxi for half the price the hotel was charging. Upon arriving the staff was friendly and apologised many times for the inconveniences, just to inform us our room wasn’t ready and we would be staying in another room for the night. It was clear the hotel was under renovation with loud banging and the sound of tools been used consistently occurring during the day. Coupling this with shouting, arguing and ‘banging sounds’ throughout the night from other guests made it hard to relax at times. While other guests being loud isn’t directly a hotel’s fault, when it happens 10/12 nights some accountability should be held. We were also promised a bar, restaurant and room service. Sadly this was not provided. While yes the hotel has the facilities for this, we did not see them open once in the entire duration of our stay. It’s hard to decide if I would recommend this hotel to friends and family. This is a transitional time for the hotel meaning that with time, review of process and some small adjustments this hotels customer satisfaction could improve.

Hotel bonito. Apartado de todo. Personal regular.

Nos hicieron un upgrade a una habitacion mas grande sin pedirlo. El personal no habla bien ingles. El desayuno bueno aunque el personal no tiene ganas de trabajar. A mi pareja le desaparecio una bolsa con pendientes de valor sentimental (por eso no estaban en la caja fuerte) se aviso en recepcion y se hicieron los interesados e incluso la gobernanta vino a avisarnos que abrieron una investigacion. Pero nada mas... los pendientes no aparecieron y la mañana del dia de la desaparicion estaban en la maleta cien x cien seguros. Una pena.... el hotel esta en una zona un poco apartada y no hay mucho que hacer alrededor. El personal no nos parecio ni agradable ni atento ni profesional. Hay una parte del hotel a medio construir dejada ahi abandonada. Para ser nuevo ya se ven desperfectos de fabricacion , humedades etc. Una decepcion en definitiva. No es un hotel de la categoria que se anuncia. Ni el precio que cobra.

Vi havde et ophold med både plusser og minusser. Værelserne er meget store, og vores taglejlighed med privat pool føltes som ren luksus – klart opholdets højdepunkt. Dog savnede vi mulighed for skygge på terrassen midt på dagen. Hotellet fremstår desværre meget slidt (afskallet maling på facaderne, løse køkkenlåger, tyndslidte håndklæder og manglende fliser i poolen), og der var meget få gæster, hvilket gav en lidt tom stemning. Vi undrede os over, at man skulle bede om at få udleveret badehåndklæder til poolen, og at sen udtjekning ikke var mulig, selvom hotellet næsten var tomt. Der er ingen restaurant på hotellet, og indkøbsmulighederne er begrænset til en 7-Eleven. Til gengæld kan vi varmt anbefale Reua Thong på den anden side af vejen til morgenmad samt White Lotus, som er et virkelig lækkert og velholdt sted at få massage. Alt i alt nød vi især den private pool og pladsen, men vi vender nok kun tilbage, hvis hotellet bliver opdateret og får lidt mere liv.

Ich liess mich nach der ersten Woche upgrade(n), die Terrasse war zwar kleiner, aber ich hatte einen Privatpool und insgesamt mehr Platz. Ich fühlte mich sehr wohl in „meinem“ Appartement!
4.Stock, Topfloor: Appartement mit 2 Schlafzimmer en Suite, Küche, Wohnzimmer und Privatpool
Noch im 3. Stock mit etwas lauten Nachbarn. Appartement war auch sehr angenehm. Schalldichtung ist nicht optimal.

Underbart läge, fin pool men väldigt slitet!

Vi var där i april 2024. Då var max 20% av hotellet igång. Övriga rum var "övergivna". Vi bodde i ett Ocean view top floor med egen pool. Blev uppgraderade fran 2 till 3 rum. Jättefin lägenhet med stora ytor och 3 badrum! Uteplatsen på taket med stor pool hade utsikt över "hela havet". Helt magiskt. Dock fanns inget soltak, det hade nog ruttnat, vår solsäng var möglig och det fanns inget solskydd. Vi betalade 42000 baht för 4 nätter, det var det värt!

Stunning Ocean Sunset View

Overall i would recommend this place as our room (1401 a block) somehow feels like it was the best one out of the other rooms in that resort. We had the pool by the ocean and what a view it was seeing the sunset at night and chilling by the pool in the dark as it has balcony lights. Pool size was reasonable to swim back and forth. Enough for 3 people comfortably. Room we had was 3 bedrooms so 6 people can stay.. fridge, hob, microwave so can cook. Air conditioning in every room and a bonus is that you can leave it on whilst we was out for the day so nice and chilled when we are back in. Resort had their own pool but we never got round to it as we had our own. Room is clean and spacious with 2 of the rooms having own doors to go out to the pool. Only thing is that if you wanted room to be cleaned then you have to leave the key at the front desk. Car park is free (car is a must to explore that place) Breakfast could be a lot better i feel for being a 4 star as just feels somewhat skimpy in certain things. Having said that i would go back for that room again
