We stayed 2 weeks in this lovely hotel with 2 young children. We had a fantastic stay, in a family room on the second floor so we had a lovely view, especially at sunset. The staff were super friendly and helpful and great with the kids. The hotel itself was in a good location slightly set back from the main roads so nice and quiet and only a 10 minutes walk from both Aonang and Nopparat beaches. We were also only a short walk from The Hilltop restaurant with lovely food and great views. Although there is no pool at the hotel, you are able to walk to the hotel opposite Chada Thai Village hotel and use their facilities for the day for a small fee. The food at Baan Bandalay was amazing, I would recommend the chocolate Acai bowl, we would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very clean, large rooms and bathrooms. Very friendly staff. A little bit away from the main street in Ao Nang, but easily walkable, and it's quieter because it's a little away. Bed was quite firm, but that seems to be a Thailand thing.

We liked the warmth and friendliness of the staff. We are familiar with pleasant service in Thailand, but this was at another level. The room was lovely and the breakfast was superb. It's location really suited us. We recommend it!

Great little hotel

Nice staff, good restaurant, tidy rooms.

First of all hat tip to the housekeeping staff - they always waited for the guests to leave the room. We wouldn't even know they were there if there weren't always two bottles of mineral water, towels and a made bed waiting for us after the whole day. The rooms are spacious and tidy albeit a tad dated. The food in the restaurant deserves a chance - it's nice to eat from porcelain after a whole week of street food and it's really good. The rest of the hotel staff are very helpful and never forget to greet you with a smile. If you plan on staying a bit longer or have already been backpacking - do yourself the favor of using the hotel laundry service. It costs little over a dollar or one euro for two lbs./1kg of laundry that gets properly washed and folded and smells of fresh detergent. Add 50 cents to have it ironed. It's located near a good food market where you can get stuffed with Thai specialties for very little money. There's also a scooter rental place - travel to the Dragons Cave and other attraction with it, it's a great way to spend a day or two and costs around 5 euros/6 dollars a day plus some fuel (negligible cost).

Spacious comfortable Room

It was my second time staying in this hotel. Great location, good access to shops, restaurants and beach. Rooms been updated and has all what you need for short stay. Breakfast was really nice and good quality. Staff members were friendly and helpful. One down side was our room was above the restaurant, so we could not enjoy the balcony as much, as food smells were too strong.

Clean and comfortable, staff here are quite friendly. Unfortunately, first night stay in got a electricity problem, from 3am till the next noon, sweat in the bed, hopefully it's just a rare issue. Overall is very good, a water boiler in room will make it perfect.

Couldn't be happier!

I truly don't understand why this place doesn't have all 5 stars! It is absolutely beautiful and close to the beach and street of markets! When we walked in, we we're given this delicious drink with an orchid in the glass. Everyone we encountered was so nice and helpful! They have a great selection of Western breakfast downstairs in their restaurant which we ate each morning. The room was beautiful and had all that we needed, including a fridge. I highly, highly recommend this hotel, especially for the price!

This was such a lovely hotel! Was just the right distance away from the sea front, far enough to be away from the busyness but also near enough to walk (about 5 minutes tops). The room was beautiful and very clean. Breakfast was included and it was all lovely, plus a good amount to choose from! Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely return here.

Friendly Hotel to stay

Staff is friendly and helpful. They purposely prepare a room for my anniversary and my husband as i request. This is sweet and caring action for customer.Room is quite big and clean. and thai massage shop is beside hotel. BTW the breakfast is quite boring , 3 days with same menu of breakfast, maybe hotel can offer more options for breakfast and the portion of breakfast need to increase. Overall, it is nice to stay and happy experience！

Very nice and clean hotel right next to the beach.

Had a great experience until checkout when I noticed my Fitbit charge 2 was missing. It had been left out beside the tv for a few days but it was nowhere to be seen at checkout. Couldn’t connect to it via Bluetooth so I knew it wasn’t in the room. Don’t want to point fingers but it’s miraculously disappeared...
