It was a public holiday and I had a breakfast meeting at Latest Recipe. I had to bring my 2 1/2 year old toddler with me (to work). Buffet - Meeting - Toddler : those words don't jive. I just prayed that she'd behave and pull through for 30 minutes at least. So we got to Latest Recipe and grabbed some food before starting the meeting. My toddler insitently grabbed the porcelin plate... i gave her that motherly-don't-you-dare-drop-it-glare and kindly advised her between clenched teeth to hold it with two hands. She walked around with it for a while as we took some food and then Syahriffudin a staff at Latest Recipe took notice. I saw him look at her and I was waiting for him to grab the plate away from the risky toddler. To my surprise, we walked away and briefly returned with a kid-friendly plate and sippy cup! That was amazing. He traded it with my lil girl and she took it happily. As we passed the drink station, he called out and asked if my girl wanted some orange juice and assisted to tone it down by adding a bit of water to it. During my meeting, my lil girl was behaving (phew) but on and off she'd asked for some extra food. Syahriffudin came by and asked her if she'd like to walk over to the buffet counter to get some donuts and of course she gleefully did. Returned happily and gobbled it down. It's just small empathetic gestures like that that can really be helpful and I thank Syahriffudin for being attentive to that. No I do not expect strangers to look out for my kid or expect them to accommodate them, but it was nice to get some offload just for a moment. Meeting accomplished. Toddler got fed. No plates were broken.

A good option in KK, where options are surprisingly limited. We stayed here and also at the Rasa Ria resort. it's a pleasant hotel, pool pretty good, and good location near restaurants and waterfront. Breakfast was, in my opinion, not great. Plenty of selections but quality not that good.

Nice sunset view. Good location and close to the market place and all the eating joints. Very nice pool and very friendly with kids. Breakfast was good with some Indian options also.Good options in breakfast for vegetarians.

This hotel is in a perfect position - central and walkable to all attractions, shopping and markets. The room was extremely clean, beautifully furnished, modern. I left a tip for the cleaner who thanked me for it and left a note that if it wasn’t meant for her she will return - never had that before in a hotel. Really sweet. The view from my city view room was delightful with a view of the sea and the spectacular sunset. Breakfast was plentiful. Lots to choose from, breads, local foods, soup, eggs, fruit, cereals. Impossible to go hungry. It is a bit loud and other guests quite boisterous but not the hotel’s fault. They provided me with a packed breakfast s coup,e of times when I needed to leave hotel before buffet started. Lovely pool with a view of the sea. Overall great experience.

nice food, nice environment ,will come back again , thank you to the manager kamal redzuan for u serve 🤗.. seafood , cakes very delicious. will bring my friends go there again to try the food. Love the food very much 🤤

Really very nice assistance and service from the crew; from the beginning of check in and up to check out. Guess are treated very well at all levels. Recommended to stay at Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu, either for both business and holiday. Thanks again to the crews and keep your good service and assistance.

Had a great room overlooking the markets. Pool area is very nice and had meals at the buffet. Food was excellent and staff as well. Would stay here again. The hotel is very close to the restaurants and bars at the waterfront and across the road from Centrepoint Shopping Centre. Walking distance from Imago Shopping Centre and others. It seems all of the tourist boats embark from there so handy for sightseeing. Maybe 15 minutes from the airport and via Uber the cost was 8MYR (about AUD2.50).

Really nice hotel standards very good. Good location near to waterfront. We visited the market which was great some interesting vegetables. The bars and eateries along the waterfront are very popular cheap beer. We had a day trip snorkelling on some islands nearby a good and well organised trip very busy though.

We chose to stay here on our last leg to be close to the airport. We stayed only for a night here but there’s so much to love about this hotel. Seaview room has great views esp sunsets. Comfy beds, huge tv, has both shower and separate bathtub, the kids loved it! Location is convenient with everything just outside of the hotel. The handicraft & Filipino Market is just across the road. We also love the variety of breakfast spread. We had a great stay! Thumbs up!

Back to my 2nd home during my usual business visit here. They maintain their none to 2nd hospitality to their highest standard. The front desk sunny smile and ready to help attitude is just great! Sweet smiles and greeting all the way just made up our day! Recent renovation in Executive Lounge had them move it temporary to lobby cafe. The food is great and they have a mini upgrade for Lounge is invite band for relax contemporary music. Thumbs up! Newly renovated room which having million dollar sea view is just so worth it! This time I had missed the chance to drop by Favola, I would rate the best Italian cuisine in this beautiful city. Will visit them again soon!
