We had a wonderful week staying at the Riviera. It is not a luxury resort but is very comfortable, situated in an ideal location. The beach is excellent during higher tide, and though not attractive during low tide it's a fascinating place for a nature walk without crowds. We also enjoyed the small saltwater pool when we had it to ourselves. The beachfront bungalow was spacious and comfortable though it is in need of a facelift. The staff, especially the owner Anita, were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine though with limited choices. There is an excellent beach side restaurant ("Perfect Bar/Restaurant" ) just south of the hotel for drinks lunch and dinner - better than any in the village. Overall this is an excellent value if you're looking for a quiet beachfront hotel near the village. It's also nice that they support an education foundation and are environmentally conscious (no plastic water bottles!).

Good location by the beach, but you can only swim a few hours per day because of the tides. Close to city centre. Staff was nice and one spoke really good english. Eco friendly place that offers free refill water bottles and beach mats instead of towels - good!!! Salt water pool - not too fresh. The restaurant was too expensive and especially for breakfast - luckily ours was included. 200 baths for 4 slices of bread with jam!!! You can only choose from 4 types of breakfast on the menue. There is better places for meals down the beach also real cheap. We never had anything but breakfast here. The room itself was old broken and nothing special. Not even the view. Ac and fan worked fairly. There was maybe us and 4 other companies staying there same time as us. At night it was completly dead. Big restaurant area but they should really think about making it more attractive. Hammocks on the top floor in restaurant would be something, now it was completly empty! I wont go here again, if they dont half the price, would be more resonable in what they offer. We paid 1200 bath/night in sea villa. Not worth it.

I believe this resort is beautiful during peak season (Oct - April). Unfortunately my visit is in Aug and hotel facilities is closed, full of grasses, bathroom equipment is spoiled, water is smelly. I stayed in skyroom and resort is closed to Jetty, walking distance 7-10mins

Incredible romantic place, I could live there forever! Beautiful people around who cares about u by every issue! Impressive specially the lady at the front desk, always a beautiful smile! The food was amazing to...after reading the comments I was a litle concern about coming here! No concern anymore we will come back December! Thx u for the service and the nice room!

My husband and I stayed here with friends and absolutely loved this place. The sister and brother team who own and run it are delightful people and make you feel welcome from minute one. All staff members are sweet and helpful with any request or question you may have. We booked a boat trip to explore the Emerald Cave on the other side of the island during the early morning hours which was not just fun but also a visually striking experience. A must do while on Ko Muk! What we loved about Riviera Beach Resort as well was the location, the spacious beachfront Bungalows and how you felt immersed in nature and the life of the fisherman villagers and locals living around the resort. The sounds and the sights are nothing but delightful and relaxing. Would always return here on a future trip and recommend Ko Mook Riviera Beach Resort to anyone coming to the island. Addendum: the swimming pool was in process of getting the final touches during our visit so in future months guests should be able to enjoy access to it (especially when the ocean is at low tide). Tip: if you want/need fresh towels every day just ask for it!

A good resort on the beach. The structure have all the basic things that you can want, the owner are very nice. The beach is very quiet . In the afternoon the level of water go down and come back in the evening. You can see many small rack running

If you like emotional vacations and total relax this is the right place to go. The position of the resort is great to enjoy the best beach and to reach the center of the Island. The food is really good and the hospitality of Anita and kahlil is perfect. We felt deep emotions in this place. Alessio and Dalila

We turned up at the hotel not expecting much due to the price of the hotel. We paid for the hotel booking through Agoda. Once we got to the room, we were extremely appalled. It WASN'T what we expected. It was SO MUCH WORSE. There were lizard's pools all over the bed/pillow case. So we asked the maid to change out bed sheet. She then brought one with big holes in it (See pic attached). We spent about 30 minutes at the hotel. We didn't even sit. However we got bits on our arms and legs due to the extensive number of insects in our room ( See pic). We couldn't take it, so we just left the hotel because it was non-refundable. We agreed that staying at the hotel for 2 nights will cost us more to go see the doctor once we get back on the shore. Please avoid this completely.

The staff was amazing. The guy at the reception spoke really good English and everyone was super helpful and smiling. We had a problem with our AC and had to change rooms which was no problem. The rooms were clean and well equipped. Additionally, the hotel provides you with beach mattresses to avoid washing the towels so often which in my opinion is awesome. They give you a linen shopping bag so that you don't have to get plastic bags ! It was a good place to stay for a couple days but I think the price is too high for what you get. Altogether is was a nice time we spent there and we had no trouble with leaving our stuff all over the room. The hotel is close to the pier and by scooter 10 minutes away from Charlie beach.

This hotel is right on the beach. Booked a skyroom which was upstairs, just set back a little way from the front line. Large bright spacious room with a fridge, good aircon and a sofa /daybed. A nice balcony. Wifi wasnt brilliant in the room but much better nearer reception. Tv had only 1 english channel, however you can get DVDs from reception as a DVD player was provided. No hanging space for clothes and no drawers even though the room was quite large so there was plenty of space. A massive bathroom, water pressure was a bit low but adequate. Ate at the restaurant on the first day, very expensive and not that good. Breakfast however was OK you get a choice of about 4 breakfasts, eggs, bacon and toast, fruit and cereal and I can't remember the other 2. The restaurant is right on the beach and setting was idylic. The staff were very sweet and the gardener just chopped down a coconut one day and gave it to me, he didnt want any money but i gave him some anyway. I showed our cleaner come waitress our 'Prize Shell' that i picked up one day, the next day she gave me a bigger and even better one as a gift. Several Mini marts around the corner and some superb restaurants, excellent value for money. Look for 'The Team Restaurant ' 👌 We went to Koh mook for the snorkelling, the beach in front of this hotel is not ideal and a bit murky. Charlie Beach is much better and just a 30 min stroll away or 100bht for 2 people in a tuk tuk. I would return here again.
