Rooms were filthy, sheets were stained in what appeared to be urine, cockroaches in tub, toilet not working properly, door would not close properly. Front desk was no help rather told us there were no extra clean sheets to replace our nasty sheets He did think it was important to tell us that the elevator was out of order event though our rooms were in the 4th floor. I am requesting to be reimbursed. Because of all this, I checked out 10 minutes after checking in and went to a La Quinta down the road. As a Wyndham Rewards member, I have never treated so badly nor been so disgusted with an amenity.

When we checked in, they gave us rooms on the third floor, my mother-in-law is very elderly with bad knees (she had knee replacement on both knees) would have never been able to walk up the stairs and the elevator was broken down. They said they didn't have any more rooms available, so I lost out on two rooms for two-night stays. Then I had to go book two more rooms elsewhere, finally found rooms in Duval County. I'm very upset. On my paperwork it said I had room protection coverage, but when tried to call to get my refund I couldn't get a live person to talk to. Just a bad experience all the way around. I hope you can help recoup my money.

This property should be closed. The room was not cleaned, dust all over headboard of beds, mold in bathroom, towels were brownish color. Elevator always broken, hallways had trash cans overflowing, side entry doors that you’re supposed to use your “key” for were pointless because the doors remain unlocked at all times.

Had to switch rooms 3 different times black mold on ceilings rooms smelled the condition on property is terrible clearly being used as an apartment living situation in half the floors peoples stuff in hallways couldn’t switch hotels because we checked in late from a work gig right down road DONT STAY HERE

The hotel looked like it was built to be nice. However it has serious neglect in its operations. The Elevator is out & has been for months. Our oil was really dirty. There was toothpaste on the mirror. Dirt in the floors. The dresser was tapped closed because the drawers slide open. They used blue painters tape that had been there for a while. The bed was very comfortable & seemed clean. Only had a sheet. No blanket Towels were stained & had holes in them. Breakfast consisted of white bread. Tater tots & bins of cereal. Along with full gallon of milk in the fridge. Parking lot was full of people drinking. There were random people walking around in the dark without shirts. I spoke to the front desk on checkout & none of my concerns seemed to surprise him

Convenient Hotel Needing Attention

Elevator was broken. Room door was physcially hard to open. It needed to be shimmed. I had to shove it open with my shoulder. There was mildew in the shower, and water damage on the lobby ceiling. The AC was cold and worked well. The bed sheets were clean. All the lights worked in the room. We didn't use the TV so i am unsure if it worked. The electrical outets worked also. The room came with a mini-fridge which worked. We didn't use the coffee pot or clothes iron. The contienetal breakfast was lackluster. I am unsure if this was because we showed up 30 minutes before it closed (this could be the case.). In any case, you're staying in Kingsville and are less than 5 minutes from foos on 14th St. The hotel serves it's purpose if you only need a place to crash for a day or two, but it needs maintenace attention to live up to it's name.

When the ice machine was not working on the first floor, I asked the clerk where I could find ice. She volunteered to get me some from the second floor. I was very pleased with her service.

Disappointing

Went to check in and they couldn't find my reservation. Then after i finally got checked in i was told the elevator was broken and been and it world not be fixed any time soon. The room was ok, but the TV didn't work. We were here with a large group and no one had TV. The water in the shower only came out of half the showerhead, half still came out of the tub faucet. The breakfast was horrible. Went done @ 830 and no breakfast. No coffee, had to make your own. Only had cereal and waffles. They did not refill anything. I guess you have to be there when it starts to get any food. If you tell us breakfast until 9am. I expect to have breakfast until 9am. I am a choice member and this is one of the worse experiences i have had.

Checking in was easy and fast. The property lack attention, landscaping, cleanliness and iverall property was not being maintained. I took pictures of our room. Mold growing in the furniture, headboard and floors were not swept and mopped properly. I own a cleaning business and i would never allow any guest check into a room in this condition.

Needs attention

The hotel exterior needs some major attention. The roof tiles are discolored from the weather and look like they should be replaced or at least painted. The lobby was clean but the inside temp was warm and uncomfortable. The elevator was not working. The 1st room we were given on the first floor was somewhat clean but the bathroom had mold or mildew around the shower pan and walls. We were given a new room on the 3rd flr. The bathroom was better but the flooring was coming up and buckling. The pillows weren't very comfortable and the bedspread was very thin and rough feeling. The exterior side door wasn't locking so anyone could access ths building at anytime. The stairwell was being used as a storage area for ac units and refridgators. The clerk was pleasant. It served the purpose for providing a place to sleep but we won't be staying again.

Quite possibly the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Room: cockroach dead on bathroom floor. Freezer so iced up I couldn’t fit anything in it. Get in shower, and shampoo dispenser is empty. No soap either. No Kleenex in dispenser. Lotion dispenser empty. My room faced the back of the building, and people were partying until 1 am out back under the pavilion. Gym: no towels. No water. Ft desk had no water either. Elevator broken. Ice machine broken on first floor.

Everything was filthy. Nothing worked. The free breakfast included a broken coffee machine, a waffle maker that took 20 minutes to warm up, an old bottle of milk in a cooler, and a loaf of bread for making toast. The room was in desperate need of vacuuming and had mold and mildew. Hair dryer didn’t work and tv remote had been chewed to bits by a dog. Tiles on utilities were missing, art was torn from the wall and leaning up against the wall. The cheap price was nowhere near the value considering the condition. Even the hallway was filthy. No guests on the second floor because the elevator didn’t work the bed reeked of cedar oil which, to my knowledge, is only used for one thing. After returning home my wife made me leave everything outside until she could sanitize my clothes and luggage.
