So I checked in after a long day of driving...no issues...went to my room and it looked partially made up...Easter egg on desk...a check out folder on chair...looked like someone had sat on both ends of each beds... i was tired and room looked otherwise clean so i decided to go next door to the IHOP to grab some dinner. Upon getting back to my room and partially unpacking i went to turn TV on...but it didn't work...a bit frustrated i went to front desk where the guy was like yeah i know i dunno why they put u in that room...i was like dude u have me keys for that room...but he moved me to a room across the hallway. Ladies and gentlemen I travel a lot for work but honestly those 2 nights I stayed there was the best sleep I have had in a good long while. The hotel is quiet. They have a happy hour with beer, mini taquitos and chips/salsa which is cool to start your night off with. Breakfast is nothing to write home about except for the fact both days I was politely asked if there was anything else I needed...did I need some help. I most definitely will stay here again when my work takes me that direction.
The service was great! The night we stayed, I woke up from the best sleep, the bed and pillows made it great. The people who work here are amazingly kind and ready to assist you. We liked it here compared to bigger city hotels. We plan to stay again and be able to use the pool next time. I recommend for families because it’s not overcrowded and comfortably peaceful. Breakfast was great and the gentleman who was working with waiting and bringing out food, was very hospitable and genuinely well mannered. The only suggestion would be a better thorough cleaning of the bathroom area, I noticed some rust and grime/mildew buildup that could be easily taken care of. The food and coffee was hot and ready when we went downstairs. We were also offered cookies and drinks when we picked up our complimentary toothbrushes and toothpaste after we forgot ours in a rush. The kids loved the hotel and felt at home, which is always a struggle when out of town. Also, we appreciated the late check out (noon) because it takes a while to pack everything.
First time staying here. Great stay. Clean room. Mandy at the front desk was great, super helpful! I’m not a big fan of hotels, but she made me feel comfortable. Really sweet girl. If I’m in the area again I will stay here rather than anywhere else.
The Holiday Inn Express in Kingsville serves it's purpose. The room was clean, the bed will need replacing soon (you can feel the wear on it). The bathroom was clean as well. The internet was a little slow even though hardly anyone was staying in the hotel. The service was great though. The front desk at check in and check out were great and concerned about my stay. 4 of us checked in at the same time and Jocelyn made sure all of us knew who she was and that she was there to ensure we had a pleasant stay. I appreciated that and thanked them for their work that day. Overall, the stay served it's purpose.
I absolutely loved my stay! Stayed for about 2 weeks and everyday the front desk receptionist Gysel was always great to talk with and she went above and beyond to meet my needs. She knew great recommendations for food and activities around Kingsville. My housekeeping was sub par as they constantly forgot to replace my coffee pods and didn’t bother to take out the trash or vacuum. Overall it was a great stay thanks to Gysel and the rest of the staff for always making my day with a joke or just a smile! Thank you Holiday Inn Kingsville!
This hotel is right off the highway so it's easy to get to from whatever direction you are coming from. The room was nice and I thought the beds and pillows were comfy. The bathroom is a little old and you could tell by some of the rusted hardware faucets and caulking that needed to be redone. The weight room is very nice with a good total gym machine. Breakfast was pretty good and if you like sweets they have you set (pancakes, warm cinnamon rolls). The nice treat on Monday - Thursday is an evening reception with beer and snacks. If you're coming with a family they also set out some board games. All in all a very good hotel. Also Tesla recharging stations in the parking lot.
This was my second time staying at this location. Good location just off the highway. Room was very clean. They have a complimentary happy hour. Plenty of eating establishments in the area. Will definitely stay again when in the area.
A group of us stayed at this hotel for about a week. From the moment we arrived, it was an awesome and pleasant experience. You can tell everyone in the entire staff goes the extra mile to extend their hospitality. Lauren was especially helpful recommending activities and restaurants in the area. Huge shout out to her! I highly recommend staying here while in the Kingsville area.
All I can say is great! Our stay was perfect! Very quiet, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was very good, with a good variety! Rooms very clean, beds are comfy, pool was nice, happy hour was also a plus! :) A special thanks to Loren, Jocelyn, and the head breakfast cook Jacob! Y'all made our stay more enjoyable with the friendliness, and always greeting us! Y'all gave us a room to stay in with our dogs when nobody else would during this horrible disaster after Hurricane Harvey took our home. Wish we could have stayed longer, but we'll always be greatful for y'all being so nice and helpful during our stay! Wish I could give 10 stars instead of 5! Tiffany and Greg Aransas Pass, TX
