Very walkable to downtown Killarney and there is a great pub across the street with music. Breakfast at Herbert was fantastic and reasonable. The owner and staff were very nice. The only thing that could be improved is the carpeting inside the sleeping rooms.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Herbert House!! We were looking for a convenient, walkable location that was also quiet as we have a toddler. This place delivered!! We easily walked to downtown and restaurants but also enjoyed breakfast on site every morning. The family who runs this home is very sweet and went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. For example the crib for our toddler was all set up and was a nice, cozy cot! Easy parking and a great place to come back to after we did the ring of Kerry! Don’t think twice - stay here!

It's a nice house in a good location and I liked the owners and their daughter. But my room wasn't cleaned well enough and I didn't sleep well due to allergies. It needed vacuuming. But would have been comfortable otherwise.

Charming B&B. Everyone was warm and helpful; we had breakfast there both days, and it was probably the best breakfast we had in Ireland. Very clean, very comfortable, walking distance to town and across the street from a Hop On Hop Off bus stop. We feel very lucky to have been able to stay at Herbert House, a lovely place!

Highly recommend a stay at this beautiful BnB

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful, clean, comfortable and characterful BnB, in a great location an easy 10 minute walk to the centre of town. Warm and friendly customer service. Comfy beds, great bath tub, supermarket just a few houses up the road. We were only disappointed there was no breakfast service during our stay as the previous breakfast reviews were fab! I think as they were doing some minor works/painting the dining room so it was closed- hopefully next trip we can try the breakfast!

Short 10 min walk into town. Clean small hotel in good condition. Chef ‘having problems’ and was not available to cook breakfast. We had to leave the property to obtain food in the morning. Apart from a 3 minute introduction when checking in, we saw no staff except for the cleaners for the entire 2 nights we were there. On the plus side, we were changed by request from a room on the front which faced the busiest street in Killarney to a quiet one at the back. For the amount of money spent, it wasn’t worth staying here. At this price, breakfast should have been included…disappointed.
