Enjoyed our stay. Pink house was clean and comfortable. Close to highway, so can be noisy with door open but quiet with door / windows shut. We were ok with it. Love that it was pet friendly with a little yard and a porches which provided extra space. Our dog loved being on the porch. We loved the old albums ! That was a nice surprise. Nice location not far from Duck and Corolla . Nice neighborhood to walk our dog and a short walk across the street to beach. Two nice size bedrooms and small efficient bathroom. Shower is on the small size . Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Disliked: Location
The road this property is on, is extremely busy. Essentially a highway… even though it’s advertised as walkable to the beach, it’s hardly that accessible. I think there should be more warning about how loud and busy this road is. Even though this property had screened in porches and outside areas to use… we barely used them because of the traffic noise. Inside the property was very bare bones for the price. There was a cockroach in the shower, the linens sparse & had only 1 roll of toilet paper. This was fine for a short stay, but I don’t think we’d book this again.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the house. It is quaint and well appointed. Even though it's on the main road, it's nice a quiet inside. It should be noted that the shower is EXTREMELY small. Like maybe 24"W x 30"D. We are both average sized people and it was tight for us. If you are a larger person, it would be very uncomfortable. Our lower rating is more about the management company then the house itself. We had issues with the septic system backing up (a true emergency!) and it took us calling many times before we could reach someone. They did finally get someone out to fix it but we were unable to use the bathroom/shower for about 8 hours and weren't sure if we were going to have to relocate to a new place due to their lack of communication.
