Welcome to Cochran’s Corner!

Our family-owned cottage is the perfect beach getaway with all of the comforts of home. Recently renovated with a short walk to the ocean and beach access located directly across the street. Our cottage has 3 bedrooms that comfortably sleeps 7-8 adults with 2 full-sized bathrooms.

Features include a full-sized eat-in kitchen with bar, additional refrigerator in downstairs laundry room, outside shower, an enclosed sunroom plus two full levels of outdoor deck space with plenty of outdoor seating. The top right queen bedroom has its own private balcony, recently renovated. Perfect for sun bathing or watching the sunset!

This home is just what you'd want for a simple semi-oceanfront vacation! Beautifully updated inside and perfectly situated on the beach road with views of the ocean. Cochran’s Corner is directly across the street from the beach access. Cottage also has a circular driveway providing plenty of shaded space to park. Walking distance to Goombay’s Restaurant.

Mid Level: great room/den with flat-screen smart TV, brand new sectional couch and views of the ocean! Fully-stocked, eat-in kitchen with a bar that comfortably seats 4 plus a kitchen table with seating for 5. All-season enclosed porch located off the kitchen has two additional couches and table for 4.

Downstairs includes brand new KING sized bed in master bedroom and full hall bath; upstairs loft with sofa, game table and a 2nd tv; two additional bedrooms upstairs with a queen-sized bed in one room, one queen plus a full sized bed in another. Both rooms joined by a 2nd full-sized bathroom.

This cottage features a huge wraparound deck plus crow’s nest deck on top level with island and ocean views from all sides. Queen bedroom on 2nd floor also has recently renovated private balcony off the bedroom.

Large laundry room with full-size washer and dryer are on bottom level with an additional refrigerator in the downstairs room as well. An outdoor gas grill, large, enclosed outdoor shower and plenty of beach chairs, extra umbrellas and a beach cart provided for guests as well.

Simplicity!! Beach access across the street, steps away from a great beach bar! It was great not having to bring beach chairs, umbrella, shovel, beach cart, boggie boards etc…they had everything we needed. Nice to be able to walk to Goombays for a meal and drinks also and not worry about parking the whole trip.

Quaint house with what appears to a good bit of history. Public beach access is just a few steps away. House is equipped with anything you might need as far as appliances and utensils. Ample seating inside and out, the outdoor shower is always a plus. The sun room was a little too warm during the day during our stay but I would imagine it is a great place during the fall and spring. South side of the house gets a lot of exposure to the elements but that didn't have any bearing on our stay. Great, prompt communication with property manager. Perfect Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time staying at Cochran’s Corner! The house was very clean and well equipped for cooking, relaxing and enjoying family time. There was easy access to the beach right across the street, plus beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and a cart to use - which was such a nice touch! Very convenient to grocery stores, restaurants and activities. We had plenty of room for our family of 6. We will definitely be back!

We loved staying here! The location can’t be beat (unless you’re paying for actual oceanfront). Worked really well for us to stay on main level and use the two upstairs rooms for the kids. It was so nice to have beach chairs/umbrella/cart available. Howard was great to work with (though we didn’t need anything because there were no issues!).

Wonderful week in the OBX

What a great home. It had everything we needed to fully relax for the week with the kiddos. Can't beat the location being super close to the beach. Also really nice being near grocery stores, mini golf, and lots of restaurants. Host was awesome and made the trip seamless. Highly recommend this home for a relaxing vacation.

Beautiful getaway

The owner, Howard, was amazing ! We had a few minor issues at the beginning of the stay, but he was very responsive and got them taken care of immediately. The house was beautiful , well kept and was in a really good location across the street from the beach . The weather could have better …. But that’s out of anyone’s control … 😳
