Our bathroom door would not open or close without a fight. The room safe was rusted. The room smelt terrible. The carpet was wet. I found trash throughout the room left from the previous tenants. We had no shower curtain and had to call for one. Walls were dirty and chipped up. Not a bad location but the hotel itself needs gutted and redone.

Nothing is unique, it is run down and nasty they dont know how to clean or fix anything at all, if you want to enjoy your vacation DONT stay here

The girls at the front desk were very friendly and made us feel welcome! We loved the size of the room we got. And also loved that the parking was onsite and very close to the beach.

The poor was very clean. The inside of the room was clean but the carpet was dated. The outdoor carpet stayed wet and smelled like rotten pickles. The section shown is pretty we got the nasty old dilapidated section. We paid for ocean view and thought there was a balcony. No balcony. No chairs. Far away ocean view but from out hotel window by the walkway so everyone could see in . It was our anniversary. I was very upset. I expected a hobo to be in our room. Staff was nice though. Grounds were nice minus the actual building. I felt like we were mislead .

We stayed for a week. Beach access was wonderful and the pool was great. Although we didn't use it, there was a nice picnic area. We were in a large two room (one bedroom with 2 queen beds and one kitchenette living room) accommodation. It was a great space for 2-4 people. Due to Covid, there was no room cleaning which was fine. We put our trash bags out by the door in the morning for pick up. If you need more towels or toilet paper you just ask the front desk. They did a continental breakfast that was a grab and go style. The stay was always wonderful. The location was great and central to going to other attractions. The building is average looking but the salt air is most likely tough on it.

The room was not the room that was advertised. Also the furniture was dirty, carpet was dirty, there were mouse droppings in the couch and under the kitchen sink. The room and hotel should be shut down

Check in was a royal pain. Good location, walk to restaurant or beach.

It's right on the beach, which is wonderful. There was no coffee in the lobby due to Covid, which is understandable. But, the coffee in the room is horrible.

The room was clean, but needed some work and was very behind with updates compared to another room that we had stayed in previously. The room door was jammed half the time and you had to lay your whole body into it at least twice for it to come open. Check in was not a good experience and we got in our room several hours after we were supposed to. They are doing more detailed cleaning during these current times, however, they were supposed to call us when the room was ready and no one called. We called multiple times and got placed on hold and finally just went back into the lobby and they said that the room had been ready and someone had called already (which we didn’t receive a call). WiFi sucked, but overall, it was clean which is always one of the most important parts to us. May stay there again, because they do have one of the best prices in the area.

Renovations in early morning were a little annoying and no elevator, but otherwise great staff and excellent location.

Very clean room, good breakfast. Only stayed one night.

Its a nice place to stay. Right on the beach. Good breakfast choices and stocked well. Room was nice. Bathroom was very tight and bottom of from door had a big gap under it.

The staff was great. The suite had a nice gathering area with kitchen and two large bedrooms with double beds.

The walk ways was very dirty, when you are walking up to your room walk way need new out door carpet.

I made reservations for 1801 N Virginia Dare Trail ( ON THE BEACH!!!!!!!!!) I was checked into a room at 1820 N Virginia Dare Trail ( NOT ON THE BEACH!!!!!!!!). I have read my agreement and there is nothing stating that my reservation may be located at a different address and not on the beach. I was ripped off, misled, and lied to. Orbitz has lost my business,

Ocean view, clean well maintained room. Outside is a bit dated looking but room itself was very nice. Comfortable bed, hot shower.
