This was a great place for our family of 4. Having 2 separate beds in the guest room worked out well for our 2 teenagers. Having access to the beach from the condo and the quiet balcony for early morning coffee or evening drinks with the sunset was perfect. We would look at coming back

Beautiful home with all the amenities you can think of and a gorgeous view. Far enough away from all the resorts where you feel surrounded by “natural Hawai’i” but still 5-10 min from fabulous shopping and restaurants. Perfect Maui getaway home!

It’s a beautiful property with an amazing view of the ocean. The condo is well supplied and if it’s not, the operations office will immediately respond to requests. This is our second year at the property (first at this condo) and will definitely return to G201. As I’m writing this, our first early morning wedding is happening right out our lanai at the ‘mostly’ very private beach.

Makena Surf Maui

This was our 5th visit to Makena/wailea and it never fails to impress. It is a lovely area with lots to offer. Great beaches, snorkeling, dining, hiking, golf … so much to do for everyone. The Makena Surf property is a gem .

Beautifully Appointed and Wonderful Location

This is a spacious lovely condo with everything you could need for a lovely Maui vacation. Bed was comfy, furniture comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. And the view from the lanai! Just spectacular in the evenings.

Perfect location.

Stayed here for a week. Previously familiar with Makena area, but have not stayed here before. Complex is great. Has at least two pools, fitness center, 2 tennis courts, and 4 pickle ball courts. The location of this unit is perfect. Right next to small beach with easy sandy entry. Turtles to the north every time we snorkeled. Only communicated with rental agent through email, but they were very responsive. Todd the manager was great. Unit has high end furnishings. Neighborhood is less busy than main tourist areas. Plus for me, but if you want to walk to resturant or bar, this might not be for you.

Beautiful!!!

This is a beautiful condo, with a breathtaking view! A whale show greeted us out our lanai as we arrived, and we had a couple of other shows - with full breaching like I've never seen before! Both beaches are great - good for all ages - 7 to 77 in our case. And there are several other beaches very near by if you like variety. There weren't any sand toys or games or books for smaller kids, so bring your own or pick some up there. But there were books and other games for teens and adults, beach chairs, sun umbrella, plenty of towels, etc. making everything easy. The condo itself is very comfortable, and really gorgeous! We hope to come back soon!

Amazing

We relocated from West Maui due to the wildfire tragedy and had an amazing stay exploring the beauty of Maui outside of West Maui. The property at Makena Surf was perfect. Gorgeous ocean view, easy access to the beach, all the amenities we could ever need and an immaculate property. We volunteered while on Maui and gave back to local businesses wherever we could. Everyone was appreciative and accommodating and we were thankful to be able to help in small ways. We definitely will come back to this property on South Maui. Beautiful area.

Gorgeous Oceanview Oasis

Our family had the most wonderful stay at this gorgeous condo! The sweeping ocean views are incredible, and the condo is equipped with everything you might need, including all beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, wagon, boogie boards, etc). There is a small beach right by the condo, or the larger Makena Surf beach is a short walk away where there is amazing snorkeling. The property is gated and very well maintained. The decor and bedrooms in the unit are beautiful and we cannot wait to stay at this condo on our next visit!

A great place to stay

The condo was exactly as we expected and more. It was clean, incredibly well furnished and had almost anything we needed for use in the room or down at the beach. While the AC works great, we frequently opened the large sliding doors to let in the breeze. There is a coffee maker but coffee itself isn’t supplied. That makes sense because let’s be honest, no none likes other people’s selection in coffee. So support local Maui businesses and buy some when you arrive. The location of the condo can’t be beat. It’s a well maintained, quiet complex right on Chang’s Beach. We frequently had the beach to ourselves. The closer pool was being repaired but we never even considered going to the other one because the beach is right there.

Doesn't get much better than this spot!

Location, location, location! This end unit in the fabulous Mackena Surf is quiet and private with a fantastic ocean and beach view. So comfortable and relaxing. Easy walk to beaches. Beautiful on site gardens. Condo has all the amenities. And the service was fabulous! Lots of check ins and quick responses. Will definitely be back!

Makena Surf G-201 is a delight!

This was our second stay in Makena G-201…It is an excellently maintained spacious 2BR unit. Pictures accurately reflect its current condition. Kitchen is well stocked with equipment and spices. There is a box of beach gear in front of the unit (chairs, umbrellas,wagon and beach toys). The best feature is that G-201 has an ocean front view that is 10/10. The beach area is just a short walk away and is one of our favorite’s on the entire island—Not very crowded at all compared to beaches adjacent to the large resorts. It was great for boogie boarding and is child friendly. The pool area does have very strict rules (i.e. no floating toys or throwing things while in the water)—perhaps not so fun with youngsters. However, the great beach makes up for that!! Tennis courts are functional but have extensive cracks—South Courts were not striped for pickleball as of Feb 2023. Property management was first rate and reached out to us several times during to make sure we were enjoying our stay. (e.g. We noted that the unit needed a new pasta pot and one was delivered the next day!). Highly Recommend this unit—Enjoy!!

Wonderful Experience

We had a wonderful experience! The place was fantastic- amazing views of the ocean, and great spacious kitchen, living room/dinning room area, very clean and well equipped amenities.
