World famous swimming and snorkeling beaches are minutes away at one of the many sandy safe beaches at Kihei and nearby Wailea. Just a short distance (6 miles) from five championship 18 hole resort golf courses at Wailea and Makena. The two buildings frame and protect a large recreational area that is carefully attended and landscaped. Great Location, Met our needs

Overall this place met our needs and is located in a great central location in Kihei. However it definitely had the budget condo resort feel and could use several basic upgrades/repairs. The place had A/C, however the switches are tied to a timer, which does not allow you to run them for longer than 4 hours at a time. They are noisy, which helped drown out the roadway noise, however I was always woken up 4 hours into the night when they shut off. I would not consider this ocean view. You can barely see the ocean from the balcony, very far away. The resort had very nice grounds with a pool and activities. However I don’t know if I’d consider it beachfront. The skinny strip of beach is very rocky and not swimmable. Though there are several nice beaches a short drive away. We had a great vacation and the stay here was mostly positive, however just expected a bit more for the price.

Overall great place to stay

Great condo and accurate as listed. Loved the large lanai and two bathrooms. There was plenty of space. The property was beautifully maintained, and the location next to the beach was great. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook. It was nicely located in a slightly less busy part of Kihei. The property management was responsive and helpful.

Very close to Kihei shops/restaurants, nice pool, the property has its own beach, we saw 3 sea turtles while there. Our unit had a nice newly remodeled kitchen and baths. One negative-Our unit did not have access to TV channels, cable or wifi however. When we connected to wifi it said 'connected without Internet '

Condo was great. Comfortable furniture, well-appointed kitchen. A few items that need tending to: -drapes in living room -1 lightbulb ou in dining room light -air conditioner in bedroom doesn’t cool room -set aside 6 dinner plates that are almost cracked in half -couldn’t get TV stations, only Netflix. Disappointing for price we were paying. -need better ice cube trays. Lent one to 305, as they didn’t have one. I hope this assists in the maintenance of the unit. Love the Maui Sunset. Wonderful Family or Couple Accommodation

Maui Sunset is in a great location (2 blocks from Kihei). It is a quiet building with a beautiful courtyard and pool area. It is steps away from the beach. Our unit was updated nicely and has all the extras you would need for a day at the beach (cooler, beach chairs, towels, boogie boards). It is a well managed complex that will not put up with loud parties. Very family friendly. They offer 6 BBQs in the courtyard for guests to use as well. We will be back it was the perfect place for us on Maui.
