Stayed for two nights and loved it. It is a boat so you do have to remember water usage and plumbing stuff(no toilet paper in the toilets). However they have full service bathrooms for longer bathroom breaks and long, hot showers. We were there during a cold spell and the heaters worked great. You also have access to the eateries on property. There is also a shuttle that runs 9-4 back and forth to downtown. Parking in Key West isn’t pleasant so it was nice. After shuttle stopped running we did Uber. It’s first come, first serve for the shuttle and people aren’t necessarily good about waiting their turn to board, so be aggressive . The host came and checked on us several times during our stay, making sure we didn’t need anything. Enjoyed it and would do it again.

"Epic" experience

We kept hearing that this stay and our charter to Dry Tortugas would be epic and it was indeed! My husband and I stayed on the boat with our three daughters. We decided to opt for the long 3-night charter to Dry Tortugas. It was a little tight adding the captain and a mate, but we made it work. The trip is something we'll all remember forever - the opportunity to spend time with family disconnected from cell service was a huge gift. The hosts were very responsive and we felt very well taken care of. I would recommend highly!

Great stay!

We had a lovely time on the Shelly Kay and would definitely book again for a future trip. Having the boat at a resort marina kind of gives the best of both worlds. We used the shuttle service, pools, and restaurants on site as well as the marina showers. The marina is filled with beautiful boats and we felt very secure and safe. Tom, Stu, Jason, and Finn were amazing to work with (Thanks again Tom for all of the Gluten Free recs!). We give our kids experiences instead of presents for Christmas and this was definitely a unique experience for all of us. Would definitely recommend!

Celebrating 50 with a new experience!

We had a great time experiencing a stay on a yacht for the first time. The communication before the trip was responsive and helpful. As well as finding a Captain for the charter. The marina was beautiful and welcoming, it was so convenient to have the amenities (especially showers right there). The Shelly Kay accommodated our group comfortably, as we spent little time below, but more taking advantage of the ample outdoor areas. We had some issues with the air conditioning, but they were quickly resolved once we shared them.As it was our first time staying on a boat, more direction at check in is the only small improvement I would note.
