The property is gorgeous! Every detail from wallpaper, to tile work and furniture is exquisite. Perfect location on the water, walkable to shops and restaurants. However, very understaffed. Long lines to check in, get drinks at the bar, get towels at pool or food service on the beach.
It was a beautiful hotel, renovated, the staff was friendly, the views where amazing, amenities were really nice, beds comfortable, the shower was probably one of my favorite things in the room. 10 min walk to Duval Street. We will definitely return and bring our families.

The property has a beautiful beach and perfect waterfront location. The staff was rude and the property was not clean. The same room service items remained in the hallway for five days straight and the hallway had trash that was never cleaned. The room we had was run down and needed repairs.

The ocean view from our suite was absolutely beautiful! The service was good, food was good and staff was friendly. My only complaint was the size of the bathroom. For a suite, the bathroom was extremely small - very narrow, small shower and very small vanity with little counter space. Overall a great vacation!
Property was a nice layout. But this time of year has heavy seaweed. Unfortunately there is no bar or store open after 9pm, assuming because it was the beginning of off season ( Labor Day Weekend). The front desk should have a key to the cigar humidor on display in lobby, but does not. Room & bathroom was very clean but was a bit tired looking. The A/C worked great & pleasantly stayed nice and cold the entire stay, especially coming in from the heat and heavy humidity. Kids enjoyed the pool.
Had to move from 1 room to another due to construction remodeling above room, new room tub was clogged, as well as the toilet called maintenance 2 times, Small bugs crawling on the night stands, off peak season, dont think price of hotel was fair due to the inconveniences. Payed per night a hotel credit, did not use the hotel credit because i called Orbitz representatives more than 4 times to get a good understanding of what the hotel credit was for and noone could tell me what it was. Spent several hours first day of trip on the phone with Orbitz, ruined the first day of the trip. Very horrible!
This is not a five star hotel. The room was in need of repair. The was no mini bar. There had plastic cups for the coffer that were too small and the coffee maker dispensed more than it could accommodate. BTW the plastic cups would burn your hand . The elevator to the forth floor did not work. The staff wasnt very outgoing. The breakfast staff was understaffed whereas even getting water was an impossibility. The live music was unbearable whereas the singer had not ability. I am going to call orbitz today and request compensation for my stay whereas the monies i spent for this room ate nothing to demonstrate what i received . Never again will i stay here. This is not a five star. I would give it a 3 and at that a very poor three. This hotels compares ti an old Rolls Royce car that needs restoration.
Namely I paid extra for the ocean view and the window was fifthly and the small balcony rail was covered in bird poo.
Location was amazing! Staff service was subpar, rooms were dated, and main entry to the hotel felt very basic. Value for the price was terrible. The best part of the hotel was that it was next to the public pier that had excellent snorkeling. The kid friendly pool was much less crowded than that adults-only pool. I found that amusing. If I were going to visit Key West again, I would stay somewhere else.

Excellent resort, friendly staff and every amenity you could want within reach. We had a wonderful time and will definately return.
