When my card didn't have enough money on it for the overpriced drinks, the bartender threatened to call the police on me and my wife, then kept running the card until the bank froze my account. He yelled in front of other customers instead of allowing me to go to an ATM or pay another way. And it was Valentine's Day. Never going back.

We have been to Key West numerous times and we were not to impressed by or stay here. For one the maid service was horrible. Why we had to call to ask to get our room made up daily was beyond me and they would show up whenever we were getting ready for dinner. The shuttle service reservation thing was NOT very convent at all. We got an ocean view room which was a joke. No balconies so why bother calling it ocean view/front. The sound of the cars passing by is all you heard not the ocean. The grounds were nice but pools cold. The staff were nice. But it is definitely not on our go back list.

Pros: -Gorgeous pool -breakfast options were excellent -Lots of activities and space for kids to play -Kind and helpful staff Cons: -Shuttle requires booking ahead, and only brings you to one place (not within 8 miles as advertised). We did not bring car seats as we did not anticipate needing an additional ride services. -queen beds were smaller— maybe fulls? -not a lot of food or restaurant options close to hotel, and dinner options were limited. Difficult to shuttle for every meal. -room cleaning was not until 4-5pm for our room, which was difficult as this was mostly our downtime as a family.

I visited Dec 18-Dec 22 and had a fantastic experience. From the check-in w/ Janae and the checkout, the experience was seamless and the attentiveness of staff was exceptional. BF was one of three or four high-end resorts that permitted guests to travel between locations which were all connected for a total of almost a half dozen pools and different vibes, depending on your mood. What was very convenient & money saving was the shuttle to the busy district on Duvall Street, etc, where all the happenings were, and it was great to have the hotel separate from all of the hustle and bustle of tourists and be able to go back to the hotel for a quiet refuge. Being one of the tallest buildings on the island, in my pics the vantage point I was able to get from the top floor of the hotel, which gave a really great view of most of the island of Key West. Being that it was the week before Christmas, BF, spared no expense or passion in ensuring that the Christmas vibe was still, merry and joyous, despite not being home. I would definitely go back and stay here and recommend to my friends and business associates.

Very responsive staff. Plenty of amenities including pools, activities, music, lawn games. A free shuttle to the historic district was great. The addition of a microwave in the room would be nice.

Beautiful resort with amazing staff!! Great bars and we absolutely loved the outdoor games! We played bean bag toss, volleyball, and mini putt every night. Highly recommend for families.

Toilet clogged twice, food was terrible, hotel staff wasn’t friendly, housekeeping rushed me out around 10/10:30 AM when checkout was 11 AM. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.
