Everyone and wr mean everyone was as nice as could be at The Landing. Would not hesitate to rebook whatsoever!

Only spent a night before flying out. Cool little town in the Alaskan frontier.

It was our second trip and we enjoyed it the first time and stayed again with the same great results. Very convenient location and nice staff. Good restaurant on site.

The Best Western in Ketchikan has a few important things going for it. 1: It's right across from the ferry terminal, so if you're taking the ferry to another island it's the obvious place to stay. 2: It's right down the street from the airport. 3: It has a decent restaurant inside. Like a lot of things in Ketchikan, it's overpriced. But the next nearest place to eat breakfast would require a bus ride or a rental car. I spent two nights there. The first room was in an older building and the second room was in a newer building. The newer room was nice and spacious, the old room was pretty cramped especially with two queen beds. Other than that everything was fine.

Stayed here as a layover coming and going from another area, and it was a great night's sleep.

This place is super easy to find in town and is just a 5 minute drive from the airport ferry and also right across from the Alaska Marine System Ferry. The staff was accomodating and gave me the information I needed to travel around, along with the shuttle from the airport ferry to the hotel. The room is cozy, clean, but a little bit small. The internet is a little slow but allowed me to check my work email and browse the web. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel if you dont want to drive too far.

Clean room. I booked this hotel because they advertised free local transportation. I called ahead of time to make sure they were running their shuttle on Thanksgiving and the clerk said they were. When I arrived they said the shuttle would not be running. The clerks were a little gruff about it but eventially an employee provided me a ride and they sent a cab, at their expense, to pick me up. So all in all, I was satisfied. The food at the hotel restuarant was priced high.

Comfortable. Two restaurants - the 2nd story one has a nice bar. Very friendly. A couple of miles south from the heart of the town but they have a van and are most accommodating about getting you to and from if you don't want to walk it.

Enjoyed the town, t had lots to see. Rented a car for the day, relly beaatiul country. Fishing is ffntastic.

We stayed 10 days. Nice rooms -- clean and neat. Friendly personnel all around. Two restaurants. - a family restaurant serving very good breakfasts with lunch and dinner specials every day. - a bar / restaurant upstairs with a great view of the channel and has their own menu or can order from the restaurant downstairs. Ketchikan has moderately cool weather so the hotel has no in-room air conditioning. This isn't a problem as the windows open and provide adequate ventilation although parking lot noise may wake you up sooner than you planned. Free bus shuttle service to the airport and to downtown Ketchikan 2 miles away that was very convenient and made shopping and site seeing very easy.

The hotel sent a van to pick all in my party from the airport, deliver us to the hotel, took us to town that evening for shopping and dinner, and then took us and our luggage to the seaplane port.
