With over 250 lakes and rivers winding through the towns, trails and farmland, there is endless exploration.

This adorable home nestled in trees for you and the family. A fully renovated 2 bedroom, 1 bath home with a beautiful walkout deck and deeded access to Balsam Lake, not straight from the property but near by. There are plenty of amenities for you to use, such as a coffee maker that comes with coffee, cooking basics, a fire pit, a BBQ grill, and more. Private, peaceful scenic views of the lake. This would make a perfect spot for a fisherman or to go boating in the beautiful Balsam Lake.

Balsam Lake is a tranquil getaway with beautiful lake views and plenty of nearby nature. Our property is surrounded by nature and only 12 mins from Victoria Rail Trail. Balsam has clear, clean water, sand beaches and dunes along with private bays. Balsam Lake is known as the cleanest lake in the Kawarthas.

Perfect little cottage for a weekend away!

Tara's property was lovely and the perfect little getaway. It's true to the pictures, clean, and quiet and Tara generously provided so many suggestions of fun things to do in the area!

Lovely quiet and charming property

Really nice property located about 10 minutes outside of Fenelon Falls. Property has been beautifully updated and has all needed amenities. It’s a short walk from the lake at the end of the road. I did book thinking the property was directly on the lake but wasn’t overly disappointed that it was a backlot with slight slivers of lake view from the property in front. It’s a very nice quiet getaway location for a couple or small family. My daughter and I were looking to just relax and read and it worked for us perfectly. The host is very responsive and the whole booking experience & communication was very easy.

Great expectations

Accommodation wasn’t bad in a nice area but expectations from location description was not accurate to actual stay. Host advised of deeded access to water but later upon check in stated that you were not allowed to access water from property but rather 1/2 a block from actual cottage down street which was very inconvenient and rather a weedy slippery access to the water. As well description stated restaurants with blocks of cottage but were actually a 15 minute drive instead. Overall cottage was clean and appeared well maintained and was in close driving distance to Provincial Park for better water access and beaches.
