We flew into Lihue at 9 p.m., needing just one night accommodation until our condo was available. We got a great last minute rate with Orbitz, but I didn't even have time to check reviews first. We were pleasantly surprised at the ease of finding the hotel, friendly check-in, and basic but clean room. The grounds are nicely maintained. The hotel was quiet & perfect for our needs. Would definitely return.

Comfortable beds , nice sheets frig and microwave in room. Quiet , comfortable stay. Good breakfast of fresh fruit and muffins. Friendly , helpful staff. Greatly enjoyed relaxing time

We Upgraded to a beachfront room(4111). Wow! It was worth it!! Gorgeous Sunrises and the sound of the surf on the beach all night was perfect. Central location is great. Good food and cocktails on site. 3 pools. Spa. Massage. Super Helpful Staff. And Chickens! Lotsa Chickens!! One of my best trips ever!

Arrived at 1:00am in the pouring rain. They left our room key in a cupboard and told me where it was. Staff very nice. Great fruit for breakfast. Did not use pool due to rain and leaving for Another location.

My girlfriend and I had a blast the location was a little tucked away south of Lihue but it's perfect for those that love to do explorations. We explored the entire island with the help of their staff guiding us in the right direction.

The hotel is dated but reasonably renovated and clean. It is not well located, but on Kauai you have to drive everywhere any way.... Soncw the hotel is on the south shore, it is a good place to stay in the winter... But don't expect 5 star amenities...

Greatest motel for the money. Clean rooms. Great outdoor activities.

Quaint, quiet location past Nawiliwili Harbor, somewhat out of the way. Comfortable clean room, nice grounds, excellent friendly staff and views of towering green Mountain peaks from common areas. Noise drawbacks during morning and daytime hours were harbor trucks with beeping back-up signals and helicopter tour flight path overhead nearby. Reasonably priced for resort destination, but not luxurious...consequently not pretentious either. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

There was a few things that bothered me: 1. The wi-fi was irritating; it was giving me and my boyfriend issues on my phone and computer, so we just used my data the whole time. 2. The biggest one: The louvers and the white sheer window curtains in the bathroom (which faced the main walk way where people walked by). I found myself not turning on the light half the time because I didn't want people to see in, especially at night. 3. The A/C was kinda loud but that (and the wifi) didn't bother me as much as the sheer window curtains. Other wise it was a very nice and clean area with Harbor Mall 1 minute drive away (and there's an ABC store near by so you can get general goods). The inn is located next to the harbor but it doesn't have that harbor smell which is nice. I loved that there was a microwave and fridge in the room (which saved us a little bit of $$$ lol) which was probably the best part. By the pool there's a shower (rinse off before entering the pool) and a faucet at the bottom which really helped because we got really muddy after hiking and we needed to wash our shoes as well as not trek a bunch of mud in the room. I suppose for the curtain thing j could have put towels in the louvres and I would have been happy with that but I didn't so that's my suggestion for others. Other than that it was really nice. Don't spend a lot on a place (like big name hotel) that you're only using to sleep, store your bags and shower.

Nice cozy place. close to Lihue. Enjoyed it very much.

This was our second visit to the Kauai Inn. We enjoy the authentic Hawaiianfeeling and the "walkable" distance to the beach. The staff is very friendly and responsive to any inquiries or requests.

Small location out of the normal route. Hidden in back almost residential area within driving distance or reasonable walk to some restaurants and beaches. Pool is quite small. Breakfast is sliced bread, English muffin, chucked pineapple and orange wedges with available coffee, tea, water or some orange juice. Good spot if you just need a place to sleep and shower, but little high in price for just those necessities.

Conviently close to airport but tucked away in quiet rural setting. Minutes away from Kalapaki bay&restaurants so you can avoid the traffic.Staff are very helpful.

Old place. Not one of the new swanky hotels. But still good to stay. One of the members of the front desk was very knowledgeable about places to see and things to do. This place is close to the airport, so its a bit of a drive to the touristy places.

For me this was a perfect size resort. It was very clean, beds comfortable, location close to Harbor, stores ,restaurants.Beautiful well kept grounds and I was by myself, I felt safe.Pool area was not your high end resort but extremely nice and relaxing. All staff I met were pleasant and always helpful. I definitly stay there next time.

Exactly what I was hoping for. Now I know where to stay on Kauai. It is not on the beach (I didn't want to be on the beach) but it is convenient to anything you want to do. The staff is awesome. Great service and very friendly.

We arrived late but the staff waited up for us! We had a lot of fun in the pool and with having an A/C in our room we were very comfortable. My wife and I would recommend this to out friends and we will be staying there next time we visit Kauai. Great rates as well. Location is not ideal but close enough to drive to shops/beaches within two - three miles.

Better then it looked at first glance. Comfortable, clean, quiet, nice use of space for size room, and hardwood floors! Will probably go there again.

Good for weekend getaway; near food and airport cant beat that

Hotel was clean, off the beaten path and quiet, and juice, coffee, fruit in morning made this hotel a great value. When calling to change rooms, the owners were friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the hotel with its two queen beds and bathroom with a tub/shower and small refrigerator.
