I did not actually stay at this hotel but used their spa facility. Nice but small steam room and sauna. Bt the highlight was definitely the massage received. Knowledgeable and skilled therapist. Best massage, by far, in Kathmandu.

I am only reviewing the Spa not the hotel rooms or restaurants. I came here for a deep tissue massage and I do not regret it. I was extremely satisfied after my massage, the only thing is I did not catch the name of the therapist, I received. 60 minute massage for about 2500 rupees. One thing I really liked about the massage I received was that first of it was very clean inside and quiet, no noise from cars honking or people yelling. My therapist was very intuitive, she felt and knew which areas my body needed focus on. As a massage therapist myself I am very picky and detailed about another persons work. Let me tell ya this therapist was knowledgeable in her anatomy, not once did I have to tell her to stop or to apply more pressure she knew exactly what my body needed. I wish I could've catched her name. Anyway I know how hard it is to find the right place to receive a massage especially with so many bussinesses in thamel. these are just my two cents on how excellent the service and work was.

The best place to stay excellent large rooms conveniently located in tourist area just 10 minutes walk to hanuman dhoka durbar square very tasty breakfast incl and the best is no fixed time u can take it any time 24 hrs very friendly staff very nice view from room

Stayed in room 02 (President Suite Room) and toon 53 (Standard) - both very spacious, good shower pressure and hot water all the time. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Breakfast a bit average but enough to start the day. Secured by guards and great location in Southern Thamel. Walk 500 m to all the shops and restaurants and 10 min walk to Durbar Square or a 300 Rp Rickshaw ride. Taxi to airport 700 Rp - there are always a few outside along the road.

What I like : Friendly staff Cool room The blue light in the room Tiger in the room Good breakfast system Interesting touches here and there What I don’t like : Overused towels You can hear next rooms , tv , phone ringing , alarms etc Room a bit moisture

Worst waxing experience ever. After 2 weeks trekking booked waxing treatments. Wax was too hot and burned skin. Strips used repeatedly and on same areas since ineffective. Wax dripped on the bed, my body and underwear. One girl obviously new and did not know how to wax - lightly tapping strips and pulling off painfully, so that other lady re-did same leg to demonstrate! Wax was ineffective and staff proceeded to thread hairs on legs for ages, very painfully, despite me asking to stop 4-5 times. Finally, light repeatedly fell over, almost hitting me several times had I not caught it. The whole ordeal took almost 2 hours for half leg and half arm; something I could have done better myself in 10 minutes with Veet wax strips! Absolute shambles!

Well marketed with some whacky room names and imaginative props in the rooms. But that hides a lot of ordinary and slightly lazy, set ways of this hotel and its staff. There are few options in the menu and it is quite a challenge to get the staff to change or modify them. After the novelty wears off, you realize the huge price you paid for an ordinary hotel. ;-)

It's very decent hotel with nice and helpful staff their system is very interesting I feel happy and relax with beautiful SPA breakfast is good as system that you can take any time which was first time I found such system it was good experience

The staff make this hotel and pleasant place to stay - although the experience would be even better if some staff lifted their performance. The room was spacious (we booked penthouse) but the spa shower only had 20% of nozzles working. The hot water takes up to 5 minutes to reach the 6th floor. Lift only goes to 5th floor so have to walk the last level. Location is great to access all that is on offer in Thamel. The best memory is the daily breakfast with a charming young lady always smiling with plenty of choices to choose from. The least memory was the spa service. 1st experience was awesome but 2nd was totally disappointing. The management offered compensation which was pleasing because it showed management appreciated feedback and wanted to fix any weaknesses in service delivery. Nice safe place - we stayed 12 nights and it very quickly was our home away from home.

After our trek to Everest Base Camp we booked this hotel in Kathmandu and were pleasantly surprised by balance between price and quality provided in this nice place. Hotel located in the center of tourist district Thamel. Very friendly and responsive staff. Excellent and clean SPA with very professional massage therapists. Unusually decorated rooms. After our request to extend our stay we got additional price discount. Despite the breakfast was not a buffet ,it was quite deliciously cooked. Coffee was also good! This hotel is recommended!
