The hotel was beautiful, the staff friendly and it's right at the start of the fun Thamel area. I enjoyed the breakfast and the lobby and restaurant areas are relaxing and very nice. There is no elevator so climbing stairs are required. Solid WIFI. I loved the location, it's down a quiet street but very walkable and close to lots of shops and restaurants. The touts do hang out a the end of the street and tend to pounce on you as you come out of the street, but that's Nepal. I would stay there again.

We absolutely loved the location, staff and comfortable escape from the busyness of Thamel The rooms were spacious, clean and safe but the need to hike up four flights including a fairly steep ladder-type flight was a bit exhausting after traveling halfway around the world. On the other hand, we loved having an outdoor, rooftop table and chairs to relax high above the hubub at the end of the day. High value for price and location.
