We had a wonderful stay here (2 adults and 4 kids). The condo was perfect for our family, very clean and well stocked. We appreciate the extra beach equipment (chairs, toys, boogie boards). We loved the beach club- the beach was clear, calm and perfect for snorkeling and swimming. The pool was only steps from the back yard. Foodland was nearby and very convenient.

Love it!

This place was perfect and the location was great! The owners had everything we needed there and more, from laundry detergent to body wash to spices! The place was clean and comfortable to stay in. We would definitely stay there again!

Fantastic place

The location is fantastic. Easy to walk to ocean and watch the sunset. Very easy to move around the island. The finish of the unit is beautiful. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect in every way

This place is great! Family with small kids and an extra adult stayed here before Christmas. The location is perfect for little kids, the home is beautifully furnished and the garage is filled with every beach thing you could possibly need. The owner is a pleasure to work with. We can't wait to stay here again!

Great rental

Very well stocked and maintained condo in a quiet complex in the Mauna Lani area. You get access to the mauna Lani beach club beach and parking which made beach days with our toddler a breeze. We look forward to repeat stays here. Barbra was responsive and ensured everything went smooth.

A lovely get away

The property was lovely and so well stocked with everything we needed it made our vacation effortless and fun. I spoke to Barbara on the ohone, she was very friendly and helpful. The location was great and the snorkeling off of the beach club was some of the best I have done in Kona. We all had a great time

Great place, exactly as advertised.

We would go here again, if we had the chance. It was great. I guess the only thing that would be nice to fix would be to get the knives sharpened for other folks who use the kitchen as much as we did :)

Great time at Mauna Lani

We had a wonderful stay! We were two adults, and 3 teenage girls. Barbie was quick to answer our questions, and provided good feedback on navigating the area. The condo is fully stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our vacation, and we made good use of the snorkeling gear and beach chairs. The location is great for exploring the island, and I would definitely return!

Favorite beach getaway

Our family has been lucky enough to stay at this beautiful condo a few times now and it never ever disappoints. It has everything you need for the beach and all the comforts of home. Beautiful spot near the pool but still private. A short wonderful walk to the beach. We couldn’t ask for more. Thank you for sharing your home!!

Beautiful, clean, relaxing, lovely!

The condo was as listed and more. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for us and our teen kids. The garage is filled with everything you could want for a beach or pool day - chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, noodles, cooler on a roller. Lots of great places to walk around, very convenient location. The owner was very responsive anytime we reached out, and she was very friendly and kind. Would stay here again for sure.

Beautiful

We loved our stay and of course wished it was longer, the condo is nicely furnished with very comfortable beds. It had everything we needed for the beach, plus more. The pool area turned out to be better than expected, the pictures don't do it justice. Commicating with Barbra was easy and good directions to access the condo, pool, and beach no problem. The location is great and we were close to everything we needed. We would stay again and recommend it.

Paradise!

We had such a great time! We found all the comforts of home at C2. The grill on the lanai was perfect for dinner and the lush scenery was so relaxing. The kids loved the boogie boards and sand toys. We made good use of the coolers, chairs, and umbrella. The condo is really well stocked. The beach and surrounding areas are so beautiful. Our family had a wonderful time and would be lucky to come back to C2, thank you for sharing your home with us!!!!

Fabulous stay

The condo was perfect for our group (grandma, couple, kids (11 & 14). Really well stocked both in the kitchen and in the garage. The girls loved being able to spill out the backyard directly into the pool. The walk to the beach was very easy (15 minutes for rabble), although a little exposed for some on the tired march home. But it was worth it since we were greeted by sea turtles literally steps into the water. The location gave us perfect access for what we wanted to explore. The parking access at the beach club was great. Hāpuna beach was fantastic and just a short drive. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful "clean" condo!!

This is a wonderful vacation spot. The house is super clean and owner has everything in it that you could possibly want. If its not there, you probably don't need it. Owner is the most reponsive and accommodating person I have ever dealt with over numerous years of renting from vrbo. The house rooms are set up very well and the view from lanai is so peaceful. You wake up to the birds singing every morning. We stayed in October so area was not busy. We were on ground floor with no one above us, so very quiet. We will rent this spot again.

Wonderful property

This condo provided the perfect vacation for the family. The unit is very clean and it so nice to have the snorkeling gear, boogie boards etc available. I really can’t think of anything that might make this place better. Owner communicates well and everything is well organized. The neighborhood beach is great for younger kids, and if you prefer to travel to a different location, you have everything you need available - chairs, umbrellas, coolers etc. We’re already planning to return to the big island next year. Hopefully this pace is available again. Thank you.

Wonderful Place and Location

Really enjoyed our stay. The house is really nice with comfortable furniture and beds. The kitchen and outdoor grill are fantastic. The house is very well stocked for cooking. All the beach gear including snorkeling is provided in the garage. Bikes in the picture are not available for use. The only minor issue with our stay was noise from the upstairs neighbors. The morning they were packing to head out woke us up very early with loud footsteps above us. That was the only time noise was an issue, never heard the cleaning crew or the next guests that moved in. Overall a great place, I would highly recommend it to others and would stay there again.

Good location and well-appointed condo

Very good location with close proximity to beach and tennis clubs. The owners were conscientious to provide access to some water gear such as snorkels/masks, fins, boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels etc. A couple of maintenance issues- garbage disposal didn’t work upon arrival but owner eventually messaged a fix for us to try which solved it. TV in main room and WiFi never really worked. Several light bulbs out in master bath. Overall a positive experience though.

Hawaiian Family Vacation

Took the entire family (4 teenagers) to Hawaii for our vacation this summer. This unit had everything you need to have a great time. Unit had plenty of space for our girls and boys. The kitchen was well equipped and outdoor patio had an excellent grill with exhaust for grilling. Beds were comfortable and well maintained. Unit was spotless and came with a washer & dryer with detergent for laundry. In the garage, we had umbrellas, chairs, and snorkel gear to enjoy at the beach club which has great snorkeling. It was like swimming in an aquarium, we saw turtles most days. Mauna Lani is a great resort with two excellent and beautiful golf courses. Also the shops were close to the unit and walkable. It is only 30 minutes away from the Kona airport. Barb was and excellent host with suggestions and very responsive to our questions. We took several day trips during the week to see all the spots on the big island and even a day trip to Honolulu. We all had a great time and look forward to going back.

Beautiful location and well supplied

Of the many condos we’ve rented, this one had the best supplies and loads of beach equipment. The owners provided spices, condiments, paper supplies, shampoo and conditioner, to name just some things. There were lots of beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and snorkel gear. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. Sitting on the patio for meals was wonderful. Nearby beaches are great for swimming and snorkeling and are child friendly. The property manager was helpful and responsive. She arranged the loan of infant equipment and was able to give us a delayed checkout time. My only caution would be , if you have boisterous or noisy children, this might not be the place for you. The condo association is very strict about noise control and kids’ activities. We were told our 4 year old granddaughter shouldn’t play ball on the lawn and we were asked to be quieter when she was shouting with excitement in the pool. This was all done very nicely but as we noted, it’s hard to keep little ones quiet when they’re playing. Otherwise a perfect holiday home.

well equipped home away from home

Our family of 5 stayed in this well equipped condo for four days. It was beautifully decorated and the finishes were all top of the line. The kitchen had every tool and gadget we needed to prepare meals, down to the grill tools for the gas grill on the lanai. There were even paper goods, soaps and a large selection of spices in the cabinets. A huge plus in my VRBO experience! I would recommend shopping before you drive up from Kailua-Kona, the local market is small(ish). The condo is located in a small and very quiet gated complex with a lushly decorated pool area. After driving around the monstrous Hilton property, I recognized how valuable the condo location was!! There is a garage for your car, but we were never able to easily maneuver our minivan in and out so we parked on the street with no problem. The garage has boogie boards, snorkels and sand toys galore that kept the kids occupied at the beach for hours. The beach pass got us into a gorgeous beach with covered loungers and snorkeling. The coral reef there was actually the best we saw in the islands for the rest of our trip! The local managers of the property were responsive when we had an issue and even followed up the next day to see if things were still good. Again a plus in my VRBO experience. However, while we loved being able to walk directly out of the lanai to the pool, being on the lower floor was a minor issue, as the upstairs neighbors were extremely noisy AND early risers. But this is certainly not the owners fault and, on a positive note, that got us up and out to the beach for beautiful quiet mornings. Only minor criticism is the unit is not super large so the furniture in the living/TV room is on a smaller scale and not as comfortable to lounge in. The Master bedroom has a nice four poster wooden bed and the foam mattress, which we found to be very comfortable-- once you got in it! The mattress/bed combination creaked so loudly, it was impossible not to awaken your partner when getting in or out. Overall, we had a great stay, it was in a convenient location, and we would consider renting it again.

Excellent Condo in Palm Villas Mauna Lani

This is just a wonderful condo in a small community in Mauna Lani. It is just steps out the back lanai to the pool and about a 3/4 mile walk down to the beach club (or a quick drive). The beach club is excellent for swimming/snorkeling. The condo was as advertised with everything you could need for a fun Hawaii stay: snorkel equipment, beach chairs/towels, umbrella, cooler, boogie boards. Condo is stocked with essentials so just needed to go to the store for food/perishables. The host is amazing and goes out of her way to be sure your stay is special. This will definitely be the condo I come back to for my Hawaii vacations! Mahalo and Aloha!
