Great Property

Great location, walking distance to the grocery and to the Fairmont hotel. This condo is also located next to the pool and gym. You’ll need a car to get to the beach and other activities which is common in this area. But the Mani Lani beach access included is great.

Hawaii 2025 visit

This property was great. The kitchen has a great open design to accommodate larger groups. Everything we needed was at the condo. The condo was nice and close to the pool. The pool could have been a little warmer as it kept us from wanting to swim in the evenings.

Great Vacation!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The host allowed us to check in a little earlier than scheduled, which we were grateful. The rental was just as pictured. There were seven adults so it was perfect. There is one thing that we all thought was a negative, and that was there were not enough towel bars in the bathrooms. There were only one towel bar in each bathroom, so one of each couple had to hang their towel over a suitcase or something else. One other thing (and I remember seeing another review mentioning the same thing) and that was that you were unable to see some of the golf course because of the big bush/tree blocks the view. Otherwise it was a great stay, location is great!

nice resort, nice property manager, a few minor issues

I will put the pros and cons as reviews are designed to help fellow travelers make an educated decision. Pros: We have stayed at Mauna Lani Resort for two years in a row, both at KaMilo. The property manager was friendly and helpful. The golf course and distant ocean views were pleasant. The snorkel beach is nice. The ocean at Mauna Lani Resort is very pretty for taking walks. Cons: very windy almost all of the time, we don't find wind relaxing. For a $280 cleaning fee the floors should have been clean, we used a roll of paper towels to get the existing dirt off the tile. There were dead bugs in the window sills. For a million dollar home, the owners should not have put in such hard mattresses. Our daughter had a backache all week. The living room furniture was uncomfortable. If the owners put in new mattresses and added new living room furniture, it would be much nicer. Also, someone needs to ensure that the maids are thoroughly cleaning the floors since you pay for it in your rental fee.

Excellent Location

I stayed at this property last year with my family. The property is very well situated within a new compound. The compound is very beautiful, with execellent amenities e.g. 2 pools, fitness centre, outdoor kitchen, which all can be used freely. You have the possibilitiy to go to a beach nearby (you need a car to get there, its a 5 min. drive), which is reserved to the residents from the Mauna Lani Resort, access pass is located in the house. A supermarket and variety of shops and restaurants is within walking distance. The house itself is well equipped with everything you need for a great veacation, even snokerling and beach eqipment can be found in the double garage. Everything was very clean and tidy. The kitchen is a dream for all ambitious cooks, featured with everything you could ask for. All rooms a really beautifully decorated, the bathroom at the ground floor is spectacular. From the balcony you have a great view overlooking one of the two golf courses of the resort. The owner could think about changing the dining room furniture, because it is not so comfortable to sit on these chairs ! All in all we had a great time staying at this house and would recommend it 100 %, we are already planning to come back there. We could recommend a visit at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, it is very pricy, but we had the best steaks ever !

Amazing Week at KaMilo!

Rating Details: The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The vacation stay at KaMilo on the Big Island was everything I dreamed a retirement getaway would look and feel like. The home is beautiful, spacious and has all the amenities one could possibly need - it was our second stay there! Mike was the host extraordinaire, checking in with us regularly and recommending unique and memorable experiences for our party of 8. There is a private beach club that comes with the experience - this year, Mike led us on walks through lava caves and a a free "fish pedicure" along the walk. The Big Island offers so many different terrains and areas to explore - and it's not overly crowded or touristy! We had a great breakfast at the Coffee Shack and a delicious dinner at Merriman's. All around, wonderful and memorable stay - I would add more stars if I could. Thank you, Mike!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at KaMilo in Mauna Lani was an absolute dream come true! From the moment we arrived, we were swept away by the sheer beauty and comfort of this stunning Hawaiian retreat. The house itself was a haven of relaxation and style. Thoughtfully designed with every modern convenience in mind, it boasted spacious living areas, tasteful Hawaiian décor, and top-of-the-line amenities throughout. The fully equipped kitchen made meals with our group easy, while the plush bedrooms provided a restful sanctuary after a day of adventure. However, it was the outdoor amenities that truly stole the show. We spent our days lounging by the nearby pool, enjoying the community gym, and soaking up the sun while enjoying the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, .
