Mauna Lani Terrace • G202 - Ocean View • Walk to Beach Club, Shops & Dining

Wake to sunrise over the Kohala Mountains and unwind at sunset as tiki torches are lit and the conch shell sounds across the Mauna Lani Resort. This ocean-view residence at Mauna Lani Terrace overlooks the historic royal fishponds and is just a short walk to the private Beach Club and one of the island’s best white sand beaches. The setting is peaceful, beautiful, and distinctly Hawaiian.

Why Guests Love It Here
• Easy walk to the Beach Club for calm water, snorkeling, and sea turtles
• Lanai with views over the royal fishponds toward the ocean
• Quiet, uncrowded atmosphere within the Mauna Lani Resort
• Historic shoreline paths with fishponds, lava fields, and petroglyphs
• Evenings marked by tiki torch lighting and the sound of the conch shell

The Residence
Designed for relaxed island living, this villa-style condominium features high ceilings, rich mahogany trim, and a comfortable open layout. The interiors reflect a collected island style, featuring original Hawaiian artwork and thoughtfully chosen antique pieces, creating a space that feels warm and uniquely connected to Hawaii. Floor-to-ceiling sliding doors lead to the spacious lanai — a favorite
place to enjoy morning coffee or unwind in the evening with ocean breezes. At times, soft Hawaiian music drifts across the resort, adding to the atmosphere. The kitchen is fully equipped with mahogany cabinetry and granite counters, and the living area offers a comfortable space to relax after a day outdoors. The primary bedroom includes a California king bed with serene garden and fishpond views, along with a spacious bath with dual vanities, soaking tub, and walk-in shower. Air conditioning is available, though many guests prefer the natural trade winds.

Resort & Beach
Guests enjoy access to the Terrace oceanfront pool, spa, sauna, cabanas, and BBQ area, just a short walk from the residence. The private Mauna Lani Beach Club is known for its clear, calm water, easy snorkeling, and frequent sea turtle sightings. For a relaxed start to the day, the Auberge coffee shop is a short walk away, offering specialty coffee along with bakery and deli items.

A Place That Stays With You
Walk the shoreline paths just outside the property, where ancient fishponds and petroglyphs tell the story of old Hawaii. This coastline was once a resting place for King Kamehameha, and the historic canoe site still sits along the water. Days here settle into a natural rhythm — mornings on the lanai, time in the ocean, and evenings with warm breezes, glowing tiki torches, and the quiet sounds of the island. It’s the kind of place guests return to again and again. Ocean Front Mauna Lani Terrace – Walk to White Sand Beaches

This place had absolutely everything we needed. All kitchen utensils and amenities, super comfortable bed, beach gear and perfect location! We had to ride out a pretty big storm for a couple of days and were so grateful for the comfort we could storm watch in! And on nice days it was a short walk to the beach and some excellent snorkeling.

This property was amazing. It was very clean, well appointed, and fully stocked. The lanai was spacious and had plenty of seating to enjoy morning coffee, dinner, and a glass of wine in the evening. We have stayed in a few Mauna Lani condos over the years and this is the one we will come back to again. The furnishings are lovely and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to cook your own meals and we did cook. The grounds are beautiful and the view from the lanai captures it all. The G building is ideally located. Donna the host is very quick to respond to inquires and accommodating. This is a great one bedroom condo at Mauna Lani Terrace.

The condo was fantastic! Everything was as advertised and more. Loads of beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, coolers, etc.), the bed was super comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. It has everything you need for a wonderful, stress free vacation! The Beach Club Access was key in our booking. It is one of the best beaches on the Kohala Coast. Great location on the Mauna Lani property. You are walking distance to the main hotel which has great options for B/L/D. We would 100% come back again!

Home away from home on the big island

Great property…super clean…extremely comfortable. Easy walking access to great beaches and great restaurants. The pool/cabana area was newly remodeled and underutilized. Had the entire pool to ourselves on multiple occasions. The many fish ponds near the property were cool to walk around as well. Great spot would definitely go back!
