Sea Village

Not only is this condo situated at the water’s edge, it also has all the amenities. Kitchen, laundry, pool, hot tub…all at an affordable price. Coco is amazing!

Phenomenal ocean view

The view is the best part of this property! It's super close to the ocean, and the sunset is visible daily. We aired out the unit daily by leaving both the lanai doors and the front door open; the screens on both looked to be in great condition and worked well to keep large bugs out. The property was more or less exactly as pictured. It's not exactly clean, but it was clean enough. There were items left behind from past guests, and the kitchen cabinets were disorganized. The bedroom and bathroom were also poorly positioned in the unit, so they essentially got no meaningful airflow. I'm personally not a fan of the decorations, but that's highly subjective. The AC unit worked very well, but we didn't need it because of the great airflow through the open lanai and the front doors. One thing to note for sensitive sleepers is that this unit is on the ground floor, so you will likely hear all the people waking up in the morning, stomping down the stairs, and slamming doors. At night, the property is brightly lit. I personally considered that a negative point as I wanted to be able to stargaze at night since the air was so clear during our stay. With that being said, the night sky was still sufficiently dark. The location is great! It's super close to the hustle and bustle of Kailua-Kona while remaining very quiet and peaceful. Fantastic weather on this side of the island as well, but it was pretty hot even in mid-November. Finally, as I've mentioned, the view is amazing!

Perfect location, great ocean front

We loved having our morning coffees and sunset cocktails on the balcony, as the ocean view is so beautiful! The location is perfect for all kinds of activities and meals in downtown. The king bed and pullout sofa bed are both very comfortable. Would definitely come back!

Suggestions

I suggest maybe putting some information regarding beaches that are close but and whether or.not they are swimmable, and a sign to alert people there is a screen that can be pulled on the lanai. As a first time visitor to Hawaii I think those would be helpful since we drove around and never able to get in the beach area because of parking and then to find out when we found a beach with parking it was not swimmable at all. I will say the condo itself was nice and clean and I never needed to contact the host.

Great location and quiet too!

This was a wonderful end to our 8 days on the Big Island. Wish we could have stayed here longer. The location was right on the ocean and we watched spinner dolphins from the lanai each morning. The complex was quiet and centrally located making it an easy drive to the beaches.

Kona Sunset

The condo was underwhelming. Air conditioning was inadequate. If you have to turn it off while you’re gone the condo gets too hot. Takes hours for it to cool down and the bedroom never gets cool

Nice condo

Very nice condo in a large complex approx 1 mile from downtown Kona. Very easy parking and keyless entry.excellent view of the ocean and sunset from the Lanai. Very well stocked kitchen with included washer and dryer. Portable AC in LR was a plus but did not cool the bedroom much. However there were many fans that helped with sleeping. TV access was difficult despite following the direction. Overall an excellent stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again

Great location

Good location not too far from Kona town. We used the grill on property for a few meals. Easy parking and access. Property clean; good for two people. The lanai shades do not work; the pole to operate the shade is rusted/broken. Also, the shade itself is rusted and will not roll at all. Would have been nice to use the shades in the afternoon when the sun/heat is an issue. Nice beach gear to use! Chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling gear. Makes your beach visits even better.

Incredible. Speechless. Best property ever

Let me start off by saying that Courtney the owner is so nice and made the stay excellent. She is super responsive and helped with my special requests. The property is amazing has a great balcony and view of the ocean, great pool and hot tub and a fully stocked closet of snorkels and boogie boards chairs and umbrellas. The kitchen bedroom and pull out bed were excellent and there was sunscreen and toiletries available in the closet by the bathroom. I’m going to stay here every time I go to Hawaii thanks Courtney!!!

Beachfront balcony amazing

The photos did not lie: the balcony is literally steps away from the water and a joy to enjoy. The condo’s are friendly, clean and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place.

One of the best

Everything about this property was great...great view, well equipped kitchen, modern...and on the ground floor so no stairs. We spent a lot of time sitting out on the lanai, looking at the view both day and night when we weren't out and about. Would definitely book again next time we come to the big island.

Great location with amazing views!

This VRBO is exactly as the pictures show - beautiful views and all the necessities. I really liked how easy it was to park and just walk into the condo. One tiny step up, but not lugging luggage up and down stairs. The balcony is the real stunner here and it will give you beautiful sunset views and all day gorgeous ocean views. The AC is in the living room, so it does get a bit stuffy in the bedroom, but not bad. We ended up walking downtown to Kona because it was only 17m and seemed easier than driving and finding/paying for parking. Really enjoyed our stay!

Loved this tropical “home away from home”

What a cute place with a casual Hawaiian vibe! We loved sunsets on the lanai! The kitchen was fully stocked with every tool and appliance you need to prepare a meal, and there were lots of little amenities in the linen closet to make this feel like a “home away from home”. I’m guessing other guests leave some items they bought, and we did as well, like partial case of water, sunscreen, etc. We had a wonderful week in Paradise! Can’t wait to come back!
