It was convenient for the tennis tournament that was held at Holua. Parking was too far from the condo and the walk was a distance to the courts. Should have had the use of a cart.

This is a great apartment style place to stay. But you are not in the middle of nowhere. Walk down the street to the Sheraton for coffee or drinks at sunset. Walk to the marina and take the snorkeling trip on the Fair Wind.

Front desk local was rude right at the start over the phone when I asked her if she could accommodate my family and I for an early check in, my son was super fussy and needed a nap but she carelessly told me no and to come at 4 or later cause that was when my unit would be ready. Got to propert, big thumbs up to Joslyn at the front desk, she was very easy going and quick at check in... almost made up for the rude local speaking over the phone with me. Disappointed that the Room smelled musky when we got in, sheets didn’t look like they have been changed I found dirt and hair in my bed. Only stayed there for 3 nights thankfully. Will not stay with Mauna Loa village again.

quiet, clean, near beach and a couple of nice restaurants

beautiful, great staff extended our check out time to 12 pm

The place is perfect to relax and enjoy the Hawaiian environment. To enjoy the beach, you will need a transportation, which in our case was already planned - there are a lot of places to explore in the island. I definetly would recomend this place.

Everything was clean and the 2 bedroom unit was very large. Location was central to say gets on the island.

Easy check-in. Beautiful, well-maintained facility. Clean, comfortable condo.

This place was wonderful! The room was spacious and homey....The entire family was comfortable! We had such a blast, we ended up staying an extra night! Close to the ocean and eateries/grocery stores. We'll definitely stay here again!

Clean, well appointed and maintained. Very friendly and helpful reception employee. The only minor complaint is that the tile floor of the lanai appeared stained and soiled.

Condo had all the necessities. Lovely kitchen with all we needed to make a few meals while we were there, including a shared gas bbq on the grounds which was very clean and well lit at night. Furnishings were standard Hawaiian rattan look alike that you find everywhere. Comfortable. Bed was a little soft for me, but I like a super hard bed, so probably would be fine for most. Plenty of closet and drawer space for two, probably work for four also. Decent bathroom (could use a better shower head). No ocean view from most apartments (but then we didn't expect that for the price). Parking is in a central garage but you can pull up nearer the condos to unload. We were upstairs, no elevator. Air conditioner worked great. Good location for touring. Not too far from town (need to drive), but far enough not to feel crowded. All in all a good value for a stay on the Big Island. It's a time share, and we attended a short presentation on sites to visit around the island (voluntary but very helpful) on Monday, and were invited to the standard 90 minute presentation for goodies but declined. Other than a door tag on Tuesday reinviting us to the sales presentation, we had no other attempts to sell to us. Quiet area, but we were there at a lull between Labor Day and Ironman. Did not try pools, too busy in the ocean!

The sofa and chairs were uncomfortable. Why would you have outdoor slippery/plastic fabric on indoor furniture? It was a miserable lack of comfort. If you put coffee in the kitchen, it would be nice to have at least a weeks supply of coffee, filters, sugar and creamers. The $7 a day charge for Wi-Fi was unacceptable. We stayed at another place on the Island that did not charge for this convenience.

so me and my friends needed a quick getaway for a couple of days. i have stayed here before and had an awesome time. i chose here because it was away from everyone and it was just a beautiful and relaxing place. The staff were FREAKING AWESOME they were extremely helpful and accommodating. my friends enjoyed their stay and definitely will be back with their families next time. We will be coming back SOON (for gurlz nights out part 2...lol)!! Mahalo, Hilo Gurlz

Setting was quiet and several pools were available. We missed the opportunity to get to the beach without a rather long walk. The view from our unit also left something to be desired. It was also a further distance from town than we expected (4-5 miles).

We left for another hotel. Repeated requests for a firm mattress were never met. Original request was made prior to arrival. Grout in kitchen floor was eroding. We were pressed to attend an Island seminar for the hotel that was unsolicited and came prior to our settling in the room after an 8 hour trip.

This is a great location; well south of central Kona but easy to access to both north and south. The facility is lovely with gardens and water features all around. The several pools/spas are convenient, clean and uncrowded. Especially nice was the balcony; we had breakfast and happy hour there each day. Everything was provided in the kitchen and bath. We did buy some better TP. Pool towels were a nice touch. Housekeeping came once during our week; changed towels but not bed linen but that was not a problem. Staff at the office and the concierge were friendly and helpful. We would definitely return.

The room was big, clean, and well furnished. No restaurant or bar on site, though. There are no views of the ocean, either. Small pool w/ jacuzzi right outside our back door (bottom level).
