The room was very small but fine for two nights. Breakfast is nice, and the staff runs the small space very efficiently. Street parking wasn't a problem. Interesting historic property, and I got a tour after check-in, including the room where Admiral Nimitz stayed and info about descendants of Ulysses S. Grant in town.

From the minute we stepped in the front door and our final departure we had the most wonderful time at the Julian Gold Rush Hotel.
