Charming, cabin-themed place. Very neat and clean, offering all the amenities of home. Fantastic location allowing for a quiet stay away from the hustle and bustle, but a mere 2-3 mins. from downtown action. Great shopping and plentiful eateries are found in this delightful and friendly mountain community. Easy check-in. The host is readily available and most accommodating. We highly recommend this little gem without hesitation and would happily stay again.George & Becky M.Victorville, CA

This cozy A-frame is above done businesses, but because of its separate entrance behind, you get the feel of a cabin by itself. Note, there are stairs for access, but if that’s not an issue for you then the test is easy. The interior is so clean that it looks like this thing was built just last week. The amenities are great for that “off on your own” experience, but the center of town is about a ten minute hike, if you didn’t want to drive. There is an AC/heat pump replacing some old floor heaters, that does a much better job than they would do. The bedroom heater is an electric miniature pot belly stove, that has flame effects, do really adds to that backwoods feel. The kitchenette is fully stocked with all but food, and we did not find any knives, which could be a safety precaution, so if you plan to stay and cook, be sure to bring those if you need them. Bathroom is clean and well stocked, and the hot water works well! It IS an A-frame, so you need to be mindful of the angled walls as you get close to them. Getting into the unit is easy, and host has setup a self-check-in process you don’t need to wait on anyone to get you in. We will definitely be back!!!

Super wonderful spot located just about 1/4 mile outside of the main strip on Julian. Ample space A-frame style with upgraded , and all the comforts of home. Everything you need to have a wonderful weekend is here plenty of space for extra kids and even a pet. Upgraded decor and friendly and responsive owner. Th place was stocked and ready when we arrived early. Heating and Ac were perfect for the in between weather in San Diego in Fall. This property shares the structure with business which close early and are hardly noticeable that they are even there due to private back entrance and front door orientation. A pleasure to stay at! Nice to be able to tak in the sights and activities in and around Julian from this location.

Get out of the city getaway.

Great place to relax. Near town, quiet and peaceful with everything you need. Little things like the vinyl record player and telescope made it even better! Stairs are a little steep and the well water has a bit of an odor, but nothing that would keep us from planning to return to this great place.

Charming and Cozy

We enjoyed a long weekend at this charming and cozy A-frame. The kitchenette had everything we needed to make breakfast. We especially enjoyed eating on the small patio overlooking the pond and listening to the vinyl collection. Julian's Main Street was a 3 min drive away and Nickel Beer Brewery was a short walk across the street. The host was helpful and responsive. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Great location

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic VRBO property, and I can't recommend it enough! The host made sure everything was perfect. The house was well maintained, clean, and exactly as described in the listing. The furnishings and thoughtful touches throughout that made it feel like a true home away from home. The location was ideal and had a peaceful view of the pond. Close to all the attractions I wanted to visit. While the town was within walkable distance and bikes on the property for us to use, it was snowy conditions and too cold to walk so we drove instead. The kitchen was fully equipped and the outdoor picnic table was a wonderful bonus, perfect for our meal in the sun facing the pond. Communication with the host was seamless; Jason was responsive, friendly, and offered great local recommendations. We enjoyed walking across to the Nickel Beer Co. which had amazing beer, ciders, family friendly and very friendly people and staff. There were E-vehicle chargers at the local library and 2 free Tesla chargers at the Orchard Inn (free before 5 pm). We walked the town and ate at Julian Cafe while our car was charging.Overall, this stay exceeded all my expectations, and I would absolutely return in the future. Highly recommend this VRBO property to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located getaway!
