And that's not a bad thing. The chain is getting a bit long in the tooth but it's consistently ok , they all just seem to need a freshen up. Bkfst is enough to get you going. I will say this one had great flowers around it and it makes for good curb appeal in a mediocre location. The chain make a big deal about its rewards but it's rarely recognized at check in. Why fill out preferences too when they are ingored. Mine says away from elevator, I was given a room right by the elevator which they quickly changed but why have a profile then?
Whenever we visit folks in Bedford we stay at the Hampton. From their beautiful gardens to their delicious breakfast they cannot be beat ! Their employees, especially Penny and Ben go out of their way to help when needed. They recommended a wonderful restaurant (Horn of Plenty) when asked for a recommendation. (it was delicious). Use the Hampton you will not be disappointed !!
We love staying at Hampton Inn in Bedford, PA. A beautiful location for a clean and comfortable hotel. Located just off major highways and a scenic byway. We love the antique shops and you can't beat a good meal at Jean Bonnet tavern. So much to do in Bedford, we go back again and again.
Very nice and relaxing place to stay. The out side water feature was very nice. Staff was friendly, room was clean. Would highly recommend this hotel if you are traveling. For me it was worth the little extra money.
Disgusting room: mold, missing caulk around tub, no working lamps in room, only 1 light working in bathroom. When Hilton corporate was told about our complaints a Mr. Patel sent us an accusatory email writing that he had no records of our complaints. Poor record keeper as well as non-existent housekeeping!
I use this hotel for business travel and have found it very easy, good access to the airport, the business location and the turnpike is right there. Great resources, clean, and the staff is always helpful. I plan to connote to use this location for my time in the area.
We had a quick overnight stay here and found the hotel to be very clean and the room comfortable. The indoor pool and fitness area looked nice and we would have liked to be able to use it if we had more time. The breakfast buffet was the usual Hampton breakfast and was convenient. This was our second stay here on the way to or from Virginia Beach and we would stay again due to the location and the the hotel being affordable and clean.
I got in very late one night. They only had one room left. It was a king suite. I was glad for the room. The lobby was nice. The breakfast was what you'd expect. All recently updated. But, the room... was very odd. You would expect nicer furnishings in a room like that. But - not. It was really old. Like 1980s old. Very out of sync with the rest of the property. It was so out of place I won't ever forget it.
This was a very nice hotel. It was pretty expensive I think because they know they are one of the few here. I had a king room with a couch and a kitchenette. It was clean and the breakfast was good. The staff were very polite and helpful.
This facility looked very high quality like every other Hampton Inn. Nice lobby, clean. Looking forward to getting to bed when we arrived late at night. First floor room very musty, like thee must have been a water problem that wasn't cleaned up.
