This is the first time that I have stayed at this hotel. It is a very smart establishment, rooms are very pleasant, spacious and well appointed. The only problem is that the air conditioning systems does not work! This I realised after already spending the first night at the hotel. I reported this to reception and I asked for a different room. They responded by saying that they don't "just change rooms" and that I should wait for their "engineer" to come and check my room. After about half an hour the "engineer" arrived. His response was to check if I had tried adjusting the settings! What an insult! I am not an idiot and I have used air conditioning before! After a further half an hour, the "engineer" suggested to move me to a different room. This one also had non-functioning air conditioning. I was then moved to a 3rd room, which finally had air conditioning that worked to a small degree. My co league who was also staying at the hotel had functional air conditioning, but that changed after i received a room with functional air conditioning. This is dismal for such a "grand" hotel. Total waste! Rather book in with Stay Easy! At least they have air conditioning that works!

After a long flight it was great to be checked in promptly and shown to our beautiful room.Bed and pillows so comfy.Bathrooms big and roomy.Meals were truly nice and good choice of food and beverages.Service was terrific too.

Sheraton is a nce place to stay in Pretoria. comfortable hotel, helpful staff, parking possible free wifi and all amenities available on site i recommend it room are big and comfortable for a reasonable price, including generous breakfast

I stayed two nights here and the staff were amazing! They were so friendly and welcoming. You can tell everybody enjoys their job and genuinely wants to ensure you have a nice stay. After staying at many hotels around the world, this has been one of the best experiences I have had at a hotel in a long time. The views from the pool deck of the union buildings was beautiful. I will always stay here when I'm in Pretoria.

I felt vulnerable to check in. The street were full of demanding type of loiterers trying to get me to park outside. When ignored they become a bit aggressive. The hotel itself nice but definetely not 5 star!

Checking in service: A year ago I was given a fruit juice when I arrived and a towel to wipe my hands while I checked in. Last week's visit did not have either of these nice touches to make me feel welcome after a late flight and then drive to Pretoria. My room in the Classic King Size room was clean and comfortable. No free wifi was available in my room. Corridors were shabby. Lifts were being attended to the next morning and I had to use a service lift down to the kitchen area and walk along a service passage and through the diningroom to get to the entrance. All employees were friendly and courteous. Meals were excellent.

Overall, this is a comfortable, attractive property with good service. Upon arrival, we were directed to the club lounge for check-in. The wait was a bit long (perhaps 20 minutes). However, the lounge staff graciously welcomed us with beverages and a light snack. They welcomed us, yet again, when we discovered maintenance staff working on one of our assigned rooms After another beverage (another 20 minutes), we were able to settle into our rooms. The rooms were good-sized with traditional decor, overstuffed furniture, and dim lighting. Not my taste - but fiarly comfortable and relatively clean. Our club room was located on a corner (2 windows with a view of the Union Buildings). Unfortunately, the windows only open slightly and were quite dirty. The non-club room was quite similar but without the view and only a single window. We enjoyed dinner and the breakfast buffet at the hotel restaurant. Note, the club sandwich was particularly tasty and feed 2 of us! In front of the hotel is a stoplight and crosswalk which provides easy access to the large park in front of the Union Buildings. The park had plenty of seating and a perimeter path used by walkers and runners during daylight hours.

I'm not normally a fan of large chains like the Sheraton, but this one had a nice feel to it. Comfortable and clean with good sized rooms and good food, this hotel is a good one. Only suggestion is that reception staff could have been a bit 'warmer'.

Every body so nice ,Club Lounges good food and the staff so friendly as well the F.D. and Bellman and HK .I want to mention to Mr. Luyolo so accommodate for all the request Thank you I ' ll be back so to enjoy your hospitality

I was pleased to return to the Sheraton Pretoria, where the staff always make you feel welcome, and bend over backwards to assist. Comfortable rooms overlooking the park. There's a nice terrace lounge/bar too. The restaurant is, alas, a little dated and only seems to offer a buffet in the main lobby of the building.
