This hotel always delivers on expectations and quality of service. The hotel is in a great location on Johannesburg to visit Nelson Mandella square and the malls. We stay here regularly as a stop over on our way back to the UK. The rooms are better appointed than others in the area and the bar, restaurant and pool facilities are fantastic. The staff are always courteous and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Thandi in the bar catered for all our needs.
Our stay was most enjoyable staff was fantastic betty the restaurant waitress was so kind and helpful,room was great food excellent great value for money location was very close to all amenities from start to finish our stay was met with professionalism and excellence would stay at this hilton again.
Got upgraded because I am a HHonors member and got a beautiful room. The staff, right from the doorman to the manager were very friendly and always enquiring if they can make your day better. The Gym was good enough, although the Steam/Sauna is not operational at all times and you need to tell them in advance to get them to start that. The Breakfast spread was very nice and a special mention for the counter making fresh juices.
i recently spent aalmost a week's stay at the hotel, beautiful place it is and we received a very warm welcome from the lobby to the room. these people know how to make one fill special and welcome. thanks to the designated chefs that made me beautiful omelettes everyday to make my day for the rest of my stay, buffet is to die for
The Hilton Sandton is absolutely amazing. Everyone (from the greeter at the door to the manager) strive to give you a pleasant experience. It is a must stay anytime you are in Johannesburg either for pleasure or Business
Absolutely not impressed, definately not worth the rates. I travel extensively and am not one for nit-picking, but this hotel's staff require a serious wake-up on friendliness first of all and service secondly. The hotel is welcome to contact me.
What a great feeling when you travel on business and you dont have to worry about any detail of your hotel stay? This was my exact experience at the Hilton for a 5 day business trip. When staying here you HAVE to upgrade to the Executive floor. Seck is a superstar employee that is so helpful and really goes out of his way to make one feel welcome. He also made a bunch of transfer arangenents for me and everything went 100% according to plan. Friendly staff, great service, fluffy towels and a comfy bed. All you need
I am a government executive attended a South African Monitoring and Evaluation Conference for the first time What an executive stay I will never forget I’m trying to juggle my diary and planning any trip that might take me back to Hilton Hotel What an experience ! I’m still thinking about the 6 days I spent there even at home I’m still thinking of the comfortable stay thank you for the wonderful experience and staff who always smile and become helpful at all times
I made a reservation 1 day prior to my arrival as I was arriving very early the following day and when I arrived. I didn't find an available room. Reception staff was unfriendly and claimed I didn't make the reservation to include the 1 night earlier. I showed her my confirmation and asked for a manager and looks like someone gave my room to another guest. I had to wait for 1.5 hours to get a room ready.
Visiting SA for the first time and I stayed at the Hilton as normal as you expect certain standards and this hotel delivered. A great stay with friendly staff and a great Breakfast. All in all reccomended
