The hotel was very conveniently located near the train station, just 15 minute walk. Although the neighborhood appeared a bit old and rough around the edges, it felt completely safe to walk around. The two gentlemen working the night shift at the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly. They kindly arranged a very convenient room for us, which was especially appreciated since I was traveling with my mom. Overall a great value for money - comfortable, convenient, and well worth the price.

The rooms given were great since it was recently renovated. Breakfast had very limited basic options and ran out frequently. Access to Breakfast area was through only one small elevator, which was always running full

A Great Stay

My girlfriend & I stayed at the Ramada for one night for a wedding we had in Jersey City. It wasn’t amazing, but got the job done. The included breakfast was really nice. The room was very clean, just not very updated. The air conditioning unit in room was loud, but kept us nice and cool. The hotel itself felt safe, but you know the city is nothing to write home about. All in all we would stay here again!

This is a great value for the money. We saved a considerable amount over nearby hotels, got free shuttle service back and forth to airport and had a very comfortable stay. This is not a brand new hotel but overall super happy with choice!

This property is definitely in downtown Jersey City, with dilapidated apartments and some buildings nearby. But it definitely brought some neat experiences that made it enjoyable like small cafes (City Cafe and Grill) and grocery stores (Sub Hub Market Fresh) each within a block or two walk. 5 min walk to the PATH transit hub and 25 min commute to World Trade Center made it palatable compared to the higher priced hotels and parking garages in Manhattan.

Below Standard!

For this to be such a reputable chain I am very disappointed. The place is sub par by any standards. Looks like a put together old Times Square hotel room that you would see in a horror film. Nothing like the online pictures! I should have figured it out by the fact there was only pictures of the outside and common areas....no pictures of the "newly renovated rooms". It was giving very much refurbished migrant hotel. Never again and for those considering booking DONT!
