Couldn't drive any further and needed a place to stay. We both were sound asleep almost as soon as we laid down. The bed was perfect, I wish we could have brought it home with us. The suite was so nice and clean. The water temp in the shower fluctuated which is our only complaint. We weren't there very long but would stay again.
Very nice place to stay. Clean rooms. Breakfast not much but it’s free. Quiet area. Easy access. Friendly staff. Free WiFi. In walking distance to a convenience station across the parking lot. Would stay again.
This is the nicest Red Roof We have ever stayed at! The young man at the front desk was so nice & very helpful. He even came & adjusted the TV for us technically challenged! The room was very clean & the bathroom had a nice long counter!
Chose this hotel because it was close to Holiday World.Reserved room 2 weeks in advance for suite. We were a party of 5. 2 Adults and 3 kids. The suite consisted of 2 queens and a love seat sleeper. There was 2 towels and 2 wash clothes. The sleeper was absolute trash and could not use. One queen bed had blood stains on the sheets. and I had to go to front desk to get more towels and sheets. They only had one guy on staff at night. Could not move us due to no more suites available. The pool was disgusting so no swimming. Breakfast was cold except for waffles. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. They did give a $10 discount for our troubles. Ha!!
The breakfast was terrible, there was no hot food left and there was over an hour left before breakfast was over. The ice bucket had over an inch of water in it, obviously had not been cleaned. The plastic clothes bag from the closet had been used and not replaced. The beds were comfortable and it was close to Holiday world.
I stayed at the inn while in Ferdinand for a wedding, and I would not stay here again unless I had no other options. It's clear that this hotel benefits from lack of competition - it is on the older side and clearly hasn't been renovated recently. The rooms are outdated and fixtures/furniture are functional but not in great condition. The bathroom had areas of dirt accumulation. The breakfast offering wasn't enticing. The front desk staff was present but not welcoming - the few times I stopped by the desk, I felt like I was interrupting their private hang-out time. On the positive side, the room rate was inexpensive - but I would prefer to pay a little more for a more comfortable space.
I had a death in my immediate family and needed to travel with my 2 small dogs. From first contact, the staff was kind and accommodated us with ease. My room was clean and quiet. I would recommend this hotel.
My mother and I (and my dog) stayed here for three days - June 5-7th I think. It was a very nice place to stay. The hotel was pretty clean and the staff was so helpful and accommodating. They had a good breakfast in the morning, a laundry room to wash your clothes and an indoor pool! It's not a perfect place...but your wont be paying "perfect" prices. It's a good value for the money. And, Ferdinand Indiana is a hidden gem. It's so beautiful...Go to the Mexican restaurant on the main drag called Agave and visit the Benedictine Monastery (Monastery of Immaculate Conception).
A very nice, economical hotel. Rooms are big, bathroom is nice. It's not spotless, but it is clean. I feel safe and comfortable when I stay here. I really enjoyed driving away from the interstate to a local dive when I arrived around 8ish. Very popular and rowdy place. It was fun to sit and watch the crowd.
Have had reservations since August. Spoke directly to the front desk. Called the night before to make sure everything was OK and was told that I couldn't have my room as the whole first floor was under renovation. So I was moved to the 2nd floor, along with my friends who had 2 other reservations. When I got there, the room they had moved me to was a king not 2 queens. Then I was moved to the 3rd floor. They assured me my friends would be on the same floor, even gave me their room numbers. Well guess what, we were on 2 separate floors. Front desk is totally inept. English language is a strain for them. No coffee in the room. Breakfast is very slim, no fruit and items are not refilled.
