Declining maintenance

I've stayed here multiple times to visit family over the past 5 to 6 years. The hotel seems to be lacking in maintenance as the years pass. Its still relatively clean, but lights not working in the rooms has become the norm. Missing/broken towel racks, water damaged window frames, and ripped window screens are a few things I saw on this trip. This is supposedly a nonsmoking motel, but the smell of cigarettes was strong in the hallway. This is a first for me to experience as I've seen the owners kickout guests for smoking in their room. The elevator was also out of service, but I had my room on the first floor.

No desk clerk most of the time. Elevator, ice machine, and vending machines didn't work. Housekeeping had to be requested to get any service such as emptying trash cans. Parking lot needs repaving.

Awful!!

Absolutely awful! The service was ridiculously slow. We waited almost 20 minutes to get checked in. We had 2 rooms. Each room had one working light and neither was turned on by the switch at the door. One bathroom had mold on the ceiling and the other bathroom toilet wouldn't flush and nearly overflowed when my kid used it the first time. Went to grab the rest of our bags and overheard anither guest asking front desk if they could get a bucket and mop and clean their own room so that it would actually be clean. Wouldn't stay here again.

Horrible hotel. Rooms are not safe or secure.

I was going to stay an additional 5 days. But I had to check out due to everything wrong with this hotel. First three nights they neighbors dog barked all night. Internet or tv didn’t work. Ice machine and laundry machine was broken. My room door handle was broken and made it difficult to get in and out of my room. Both rooms I was in looked like the doors have been kicked in multiple times. You could see into my room from the hallway because of the gap. Last night was the final straw. Two women were screaming and fighting and yelling and running up and down the hallway from 7:30pm to 5am. I notified the manager. It quit for about a hour then went right back at it. Everything is broken or doesn’t work. Complete waste of money. Never will I ever return. Whole building needs redo and everything needs fixed. Shower didn’t work in the second room I got when I was moved.

The bathroom walls were very dirty. The toilet seat disgusting.The toilet would not flush unless you added water while flushing to improve the amount of water. I have no clue how I got hot water in the shower just pulling the handle back and forth somehow made it hotish. The fire alarm in the room was gone and the hole was mostly covered by pink tape. The sheets and towels were stained. One wall was orange with with broken drywall showing.

We were looking for a place to stay with dogs. This place was the only place on our travel route that did not charge anything for dogs. There are no carpets, so no worries. We called in advance of our late arrival, they said if no one was at desk, to use the phone, and someone would be right there. Clean. Great price, slightly over $50. No frills, just bar soap, no shampoo, but we always pack our own anyway. No breakfast, but they do have coffee. You just can't beat this price. Clean place to stay, right off the interstate. Has parking for campers or semis also if needed.

For the price, you cant beat it. Yes, it wasnt as nice as a $200 hotel, but it was $55. Bathrooms were clean, room was clean. For a $55 room, this thing was awesome. It gives a $55 room a good name. Most of them that are priced like this lack on cleanliness. I was satisfied.

WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE

I arrive at check-in time and open the door to the lobby where I nearly step in a pile of dog poop INSIDE the lobby. No one at desk but a note directing me to use phone. Eventually an elderly employee comes out to tell me she can’t check me in because the person who can has left and no idea when they’ll be back. However she gives me the key to the room and says when manager comes back, he’ll stop by and knock on the door. She had a list of reservations hand written on notebook paper which I thought was odd. She also didn’t want my ID. I hesitantly go to the room. Seems okay until I turn on TV and notice a pile of debris around the base of the TV. So either it was dirt or something was oozing out of the vent. As I was contemplating what to do next, the direct TV signal goes out with no idea when it will come back. Overall I just didn’t feel safe and left to go to a different hotel. I have contacted hotel about a refund but have gotten zero response. I will never stay at another Motel 6!

The hotel was nasty! We found fingernails in our bed. The sink wouldn’t drain. There was brown stuff on the wall that looked like poop. The shower made a horrible noise.
