Beautiful property in the heart of a fun, walkable town.

Wonderful location!

Was very good location. Room furniture needed to be repainted/varnished. Room colors too dark.

This is an inn...so remember its small but quaint. Not bad for the location and price. Staff was really nice.

We love the location and we enjoy the quirkiness of the facility. It could use some updating and some paint. Every room is different and minimally furnished. The breakfast is very good. We have stayed here several times and will continue to do so as it is a halfway point for a trip we make several times each year.

It’s well worn and unique. Every room is different. It is a bit of a warren, unique and delightful.

This was our second stay here. In a different room than before, room 10. Very noisy air conditioner and shower soaks the bathroom floor. We’ve stayed here before and will again as the location is great … requesting a different room.

Florida House is quaint and quirky. We loved it. Not your typical kind of place. It has character and experience. It’s been lived in, well used, and lovingly maintained. Parking is convenient and the location is ideal. We will absolutely be back.

Rooms are so small, the size of my closet! Very loud in the rooms which aren’t soundproof from outside with a bar/rock concert next door.

Quaint, well located, economical, nice staff. Next to bar with loud music on north side. Band stopped at 11pm.

Looks much better in pictures than in person. The staff isn't present much. It is run much more like an Air BnB than a hotel. Despite prior knowledge of a roof leak in my room they booked us in it anyways and it rained everyday I was there; my suitcase got soaked. It is located in the heart of downtown which is great but it is more/less connected the loudest and most active music bar in town which made sleeping before midnight difficult. Management was helpful in getting us assigned to another hotel for the rest of our stay due to the water issue. Was not what we were expecting.

No staff around after 5pm. Our unit was freezing and I tried to call the number of the person you would call after hours. He did not answer his phone and his vm was full. I had to go out to my car and find a jacket, a beach towel, and a small blanket for my daughter and I to try to stay warm. The thermostat in the hallway was set to 68°. At some point during the night, someone came and changed it. I assume others were calling to complain. They took it from very cold to very hot. We both woke up in the middle of the night, sweating. In the morning I saw the thermostat had been moved to 75°. For the life of me I cannot understand WHY they would have gone from one extreme to the next! Next door to the hotel is a bar which had live music until 11pm. I happened to read a review where someone said that the bar is owned by the hotel owners. It is kind of surprising to me that if this is true, that they would have loud music playing, which would keep their guests from being able to have a peaceful night sleep. But what was almost worse than loud people and loud music going late into the night was the music they kept on in the courtyard all night long which came in through the bedroom windows! Our room had 2 twin beds. These beds contained probably the loudest mattresses I’ve ever slept on in my life! We had a horrible night of no sleep. Every time you moved in bed you woke up or woke the other person up. Cute hotel but we never plan to go back which is a shame. Great location.

I loved how beautiful the court yard was and how unique the Inn was with the architecture. However, the bed was really hard and the pillows were not that great so we didn’t get much sleep.

Awesome staff and great service. Unique rooms fir a fun getaway

Historic bed and breakfast. House is certainly old but very pleasing. Our room number 12 was very clean, freshly painted and room was a nice size. Remember this is a B&B and house is historic so rooms are on the smallish size. Bedding was nice and comfortable. Bathroom is small , has a tiled stand up shower that was a great size. Check is between 3 and 5 pm. There is NO staff on site after 5 pm so not sure what happens if there is an issue. Had free WiFi, free parking, free bottles of water, tea and coffee in the sitting room of the main house. The Inn parking lot is small maybe 15 spaces. So, we parked and did not move the car. I did not want to hunt down street parking or a pay lot. There are numerous places to eat and shop and you can walk to any and all. The downtown is beautiful. Breakfast the next day was a buffet style was really good, along with coffee and juice. The breakfast is only served between 8:30 and 9:30 on the weekends. Now for the bad: The bar next door is called the Green Turtle and has live very very very loud music starting at 8 pm. Room 12 is upstairs facing the side courtyard and the adjoining the outside bar. The music was so loud that the windows in our room shook!!! Why would the Inn owner put up with that? He owns the bar!!! Yes: I read other reviews about the loud music but honestly could not fathom how loud!!! If you want to go to sleep before 11 pm or a quiet evening Do Not Book on that side of the inn. Too bad about the noise !!!

Very nice hotel but real old and needs modernizing. Breakfast wonderful! Staff never around but were not needed much. Only had one key to room when wife and I needed one.
