The Space:

Casa Amelia is a newly-built home nestled between the beaches of the Atlantic and the Intracoastal Waterway in the world-renowned Amelia Island Omni Resort.  As you wind through this resort community, the live oaks with their overhanging Spanish moss highlight the unspoiled natural setting of Casa Amelia.



As you arrive at Casa Amelia, you are welcomed by a large, private driveway that provides ample parking. Before entering the house, you quickly note the abundance of the outdoor living space, an outdoor kitchen with a gas grill, and the unheated private pool. It is quickly apparent that whether you are enjoying the large covered seating area, the chaise loungers that surround the pool, or the Adirondack chairs nestled in their private alcove, there is a spot perfect for your varying preferences.



Upon entering Casa Amelia, the breathtaking high ceilings with exposed beams and custom-made cast iron lighting fixtures provide a fitting contrast to the gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances and marble countertops. Two large islands, one perfect for a chef’s prep work and another surrounded by four bar stools, sit alongside a large dining table with comfortable seating for eight. On those evenings when you’d prefer to stay in and relax, the warm living area features two full sized couches and two chairs perfect for viewing the large wall-mounted TV.



Also conveniently located on the main floor is a half-bathroom and a modern laundry room. Both are easily accessible from the pool area and are immediately adjacent to the kitchen. The laundry room includes a stacked front-loading washer & dryer with plentiful countertop space and a deep sink.



On the second floor, you will find three sizeable bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. The spacious master suite has a king size bed and a comfortable indoor seating area.  French doors open to a large balcony, perfect for enjoying your early morning coffee.  The master bathroom is reminiscent of a spa experience with a deep, free-standing soaking tub, double vanity, and walk-in rain shower with dual showerheads. The second bedroom shares the large balcony with the master suite and features a queen size bed with an en-suite bathroom that includes a walk-in shower with glass enclosure. The third bedroom has two custom made twin size bunk beds, each of which will comfortably sleep either an adult or child. This bedroom also includes an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower.



All fresh linens and towels are provided for our guests. We also provide a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, dish washing soap, dish pods, and laundry detergent. Beach towels are also provided for you to use during your stay.



This property does NOT supply beach chairs or umbrellas.



While at this rental, you can enjoy the acclaimed biking/walking trails, spa, shops, nature center, chapel, or restaurants situated in the resort, or you can venture to the charming Historic Downtown of Fernandina Beach (about a 15-minute drive north) and feast on the eclectic dining and varied shopping options. Golf is available at many great courses in the area. Bike and golf cart rentals are also available - please inquire for additional information.



Please be advised, this property does not offer access to the Omni Resort privileges or amenities. Access to the main resort pool, fitness center, shuttle service, and Racquet Park (Drysdale) is restricted to only club members and their guests. We will gladly answer any questions about area activities and our amenities you may have.



All RVs, trailers and boats are NOT allowed within the security gate. Please inquire for further details.



We also ask all guests to complete a registration form with Amelia Island Vacations through the secure site of DocuSign.
