Pros: Location is great- beach access path is across the street and the Omni Resort neighborhood is pretty quiet; the unit is spacious; there is new furniture in the master bedroom, a new kitchen sink and new tile floors. The unit was nice and clean when we arrived. If you have children, there were some games/puzzles and beach toys. Internet and TV worked fine (although no cable- just Roku.)
Cons: The building and the unit are simply tired. All the kitchen and bath cabinetry need replacing. The bathrooms are dated (and the plumbing moves in the master bath shower and the sink barely drains.) The kitchen appliances are also functional but old. Same for the furniture and decor other than in the master. If you have any mobility issues, this is not the place for you- 10 or so stairs to get to the elevator to the 4th floor unit (no ramp) and many, many more stairs to access the pool area. Although other renters mentioned beach chairs- there was only one chair available, and it wasn’t in great shape.
In sum, the owners have made some updates but many more are needed. However, they can be overlooked if you are interested primarily in the beautiful beach.
