Little outdated

The condo definitely was not updated. Carpeting in entire condo looked like original carpeting when condo first built. Maybe it was clean but really outdated. Bathrooms was a little updated. Kitchen missing staples such as cutting board, dish drainer, hot pads, etc. But I must say, beds were comfortable as well as the pillows.

Great location but Condo is a loser

Been to Amelia Island numerous times but this was our first stay on the south end. Condo is within the Omni resort complex which is beautiful. The area is very similar to Hilton Head Island. The Condo on the other hand is located in a nice complex but is totally outdated. Everything looks Original from the carpet to worthless shower heads that refuse to distribute decent water flow. The inside of coffee maker was full of scum and most likely bacteria ridden. The bedding was adequate but the pillows were very soft and comfortable. Bottom line would I return to this area of the island. Yes. But to this Condo unit a BIG NO!

Fit our needs

I always feel that renting from VRBO is super easy. This particular unit is desperately needing updating. Half of the electric outlets didn’t work. The lighting is poor and the shower room is kind of creepy it’s so dark. The tub is stained. The carpet is very dirty/stained appearing and needs to be removed and the condo tiled. Carpet at the beach is yucky. I felt like it was as clean as an old condo could be. Appreciated the washer and dryer.
