The exceptional boutique hotel was a block off the square. The property is new and the staff is eager and provide personalized service. Lodging quality and detail of service commensurate to cost.
We stayed one night at the hotel, and it was excellent. The staff, the facilities, the room, the lounge and the location were all perfect. We loved the decor of the hotel, and the room layout was perfect. Large enough to be comfortable, with a desk, corner sitting bench, chair, fireplace, etc... but not so big that it was overdone.

Beautiful new hotel, great location! Staff is friendly and helpful. Tip: Plenty of street parking exists where you can park free overnight after 6pm and avoid the daily valet charge.
Working on the details. Great Hotel. The Resort Fee was a very unpleasant surprise. Need to be more trasparent about it...not bring it up at check in time without having mentioned it before.
Hotel Jackson was more than we expected. The real plus for the hotel was the fabulous staff. Every staff member that we met greeted us will a smile and cheerful word. They took interest in what activites we had planned for the day and offered suggestions to enhance the day's outing. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and well maintained. The only complaint is the resort fee. When asked about the fee the front desk clerk said it was to cover the breakfast and the NY Times. The breakfast is advertised as being included and we were not interested in the Times. We knew there was a fee and that did not deter us but overall we think the resort fee is a revenue generator. Would definitely reccommend the hotel.
