This hotel is chaos! We travel often and we have never had so many issue checking in and out, both of which took way too long. It took forever to many any kind of changes to our stay and then we received several different charges on our bill. All of which were taken off because of course we were there on an all inclusive vacation, but even that took forever. This is a very massive hotel and getting from one side to the other, especially if you are traveling with small children/parent/grandparents etc., it is very difficult given the insane amount of stairs there are everywhere. I would never again book this hotel or use your services as your customer services was worst than this experience. I spent 2 days on the phone with your agents and every single time was not helped, transferred put on hold for hours and then not helped again. 2 days of trying to get some orbitz representative to adjust our package and nobody did anything to make this happened. we had to do it with the hotel directly. I will let my massive family and friends know not to every use your website again!!!!

Bugs in my room /pillow, the Manager was rude and didn’t do much of anything about it, basically told me I must have had candy in the room. All rooms are beach side and big! House keeping is great and works hard. Location is in between 2 mountains so You need to take a cab anywhere, which costs money every day, walking is not really an option. Beach was beautiful! Beach staff was GREAT! Breakfast buffet was ok, but apparently the bottle of water or DT Coke was an extra charge.

This hotel is beautiful, the staff members are friendly and courteous. It offers an incredible view from every room. What I did not like is the layout of the compound. The location requires a taxi to go anywhere. The restaurant and pool are located down 10 floors and a quarter mile away from the main hotel. Just not convenient if you want to head out for a dip in the pool. They do not offer much in the way of places to get a drink or food because they encourage the all-inclusive package, which is expensive. If all-inclusive is your thing and you don't mind doing a lot of walking you will love this resort.

Great hotel . would have been better if not having to pay 1300.00 dollars at check in

The staff at the resort are great. You can always fine a spot on the beach....water is rough but great for body surfing. The service and food on beach is great. There is a very limited choice of good at the buffet but you can order off the menu.

WHAT A LOVELY HOTEL! BUT --- Before you book this hotel you HAVE to consider that it's BIG and EVERYTHING is complex to get to --- the beach, the pool, the restaurants --- they ALL require lengthy walks with stairs. My father has mobility issues and walking to the restaurant, pool and beach require navigating many stairs and require LONG walks. YES, there are shuttles, but again, long walks to the lobby and then climbing in and out of the shuttle was difficult. EVERYTHING ELSE ABOUT THIS HOTEL IS AMAZING. The Beach and the facilities and the rooms and the staff were all so VERY accommodating. Hind sight being 20/20, I would have opt for a smaller, boutique style hotel vs. a big hotel like this.

loved that there was a true mexican feeling- rarely felt like it was a tourist location No vendors on the beach was nice- only down side was rough waves at times - but loved the hotel over all Would be a bit nicer if the bars outside at beach were open earlier --- 11:00 seemed a bit late to open up. still loved our experience.

Interesting hotel! Built into a hillside and great elevators. We liked the room but were a bit disappointed with the condition of several items (all broken when we arrived - TV, blow dryer x 2) and I didn't like the coffee maker (single serve but it didn't work correctly) & the living room sofa is actually a day bed and not all that comfortable. The master bed was comfortable. The pool and ocean were both nice. The beach is secluded and well maintained. The surf can be pretty rough and not a lot of people were swimming in it (this is a common problem with west facing beaches in Ixtapa - always have red flags up to warn swimmers about rough surf and undertows). Good food at the restaurants and the price is fine. You will use taxi's a lot or expect a pretty long walk back into Ixtapa/Zihu shopping. Taxis are cheap so that shouldn't be an issue. Driving in Mexico can be a bit confusing if you haven't done it before - but I drive when I go down and only use a taxi once in a while.

The staff is great the place is beautiful, but the ac sucks I had to change to 3 rooms all had horrible ac! But this place is about relaxation, no access to Night life no shows no activities.. just pure relaxation! The resort is also away from the shopping areas or nightclub area.

Hotel has great potential. Staff was very professional and polite. Awesome views and jungle like property. Unfortunately, it’s in bad condition and its very dirty. Food is not fresh and prices are high.

I love this hotel love the view the beach the pool

Our plan in Ixtapa was to enjoy the beautiful waters of Mexico. We realized that not only can you not swim, but you like 7 ft waves, you may enjoy it........ We waited patiently trying to get a taxi, but at times it seemed that the Natives were served ahead of us..........the poolside lunches were very expensive and portions were extremely small, the waiters were very rude and we did not feel welcomed. The lounge chairs were very dirty, old and broken........the guests could smoke anywhere in the hotel, poolside area which made it extremely difficult to enjoy the clean air in the mountains. The front lobby was very cordial and courteous. The meals at the hotel were the same each day.........but they were very tasty.

Since the moment we arrived the entire staff super friendly and nice. Room was so clean, nice, room service fast. Definitely planing on going back in October.

It was a pleasant experience. The staff were very friendly. The breakfasts were tasty. The beach is private, although you can't swim and relax. Diving into the waves is fun. The room was clean, updated and with a great view. I would stay here again. One negative experience was during dinner, one staff member almost seemed as if he did not want to accommodate us. We almost felt not wanted. Even with that experience, I will not let that one particular staff member rate the hotel bad. The rest of the many staff members we encountered were friendly.

Nice hotel The only thing is that it is so big you have to hike a ways to get to the pool restaurants from the room. So I don't recommend this hotel for the elderly or a person with disabilities granite they have transportation to get you to the restaurants and the pool but you call from a phone to have them get you so you roast waiting also no Ice in any floor have to get it from the lobby bar, the gym has no shower and old equipment

The Pacific Ocean crashes into the shore with breathtaking beauty. If you enjoy a challenge this is the place! The view can't be beat! The food was amazing! The staff were excellent. The building itself could use some tender loving care in places but everything worked and we had no problems at all. We loved the lights around the trees at night guiding us to the outdoor restaurant. The water was a bit too rough for some, but we absolutely loved it! The pools were very refreshing too. All the rooms come with a large balcony. We really enjoyed sitting on ours watching and listening to the ocean and looking up at the stars.

Can't beat having a private beach in Mexico! We will come back each year, amazing place!

We enjoyed the beach and the pool. Watching the sunset was an enjoyable experience each evening. We enjoyed the breakfast menu and the omletes made to order. The pool was very nice. The staff was helpful and well informed.

One of the only private beaches in Ixtapa / Zih, plenty of palapas for everyone at the hotel. Staff is friendly and helpfull.

It was great to return to Las Brisas after ten years. It felt like coming home again. We have been here several times in past years faithfully coming here once per year. We saw some changes but not many. Many of the staff have been working there for years and it was good to see them again. Cirelo who works in the main bar, is outstanding. Get the Beach Club rooms. It is worth it. The only negative were the parties that go late into the night and disrupts hearing the sound of the waves. There should be a cut off time so everyone can sleep.
