When i arrived at this lovely boutique hotel i asked if they knew of the only place in Istanbul where i had been able to find a sweet called kemal pasha - and give me directions. They knew the place and i was delighted. But not as delighted as when this rather rare desert appeared, especially homemade, on my table at breakfast the next morning. I always stay here now for trips to Turkey or just on my way to other destinations. The top floor terrace has great views of the water across to Asia and if you look the other way you can see the minarets of the Blue Mosque. Everybody is so naturally helpful and friendly and give great advice on where to go and what to do. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you to all.

Had a wonderful stay here. The staff is very helpful. Good views from the breakfast terrace. Clean and tidy rooms. Tram station is a 5 min walk, other sights are 3 minutes away. Perfect location to explore sultanahmet. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Another comfortable and well-catered holiday in this lovely little hotel. I arrived in Istanbul very early in the morning, which I would not do again, as if the hotel is fully booked there is nowhere to put exhausted guests except the breakfast room, where you will wait for a few hours until breakfast is served. Having said that, the breakfast was complimentary, the sunrise was beautiful, and the food is still very good - thanks Fatima :) Again, the staff at Osmanhan did all they could to ensure that I enjoyed the sights and travel experiences around their city, and made the arrangements for my ANZAC pilgrimage to the Gallipoli peninsula... which was so incredibly sad, but also a day of feeling a real and most unexpected bond with the people of Turkey... Hubris and waste. Anyway, I recommend the trip, and I certainly endorse the facilities and staff of this hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff. we felt like home during our 4 days stay. Also, the hotel is very well located in Sultanahmet Area. Rooms are clean. A big thank you to the staff and their great services and tips about Istanbul.

I was very very satisfied with this lovely and comfortable hotel. Staff was very friendly and they try to help you as much as they can .Room was clean. We stayed at the second floor . we asked twin bed but my room has double bed(for me and niece) and except I asked the reception change the room and he told me he did it tomorrow but it hadn’t happened . Anyway the staff were incredibly helpful. Specially Mr Omar was like my personal tour guides helping me to plan out all my days of sightseeing with plenty of knowledge and enthusiasm and the owner of hotel was a very very kind person. The person at the reception has much knowledge about Istanbul and gave me exact information for sight-seeing. The hotel is very close to hajia sophia and sultan ahmet mosque about 7 minutes walk. they have terrace and free simple breakfast with views over Marmara sea. I really enjoyed my time at the Osmanhan and would strongly recommend it to any traveller who likes to avoid massive corporate concrete box type hotels. I have to say I have been to so many big huge hotels and they have limitless stars so to say but I did not feel the same way at all as I have stayed in Osmanhan. I feel home when I stay in this hotel also enjoy being near all historical places . The most beautiful part of my journey while I was there was commencing with a nice breakfast accompanied with the view of Bosphorus... Go there you won't be disappointed at all...

We stayed in the Osmanhan Hotel for 4 nights. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The bed l was comfortable and had good quality linens. The pillows were especially good. The breakfast on the rooftop was delicious. And you can’t beat the location. We would definitely stay there again.

Hotel is very close to all the important tourist spots in Sultanahmet area. Everyone at the hotel are very helpful and warm. Clean room with homely Turkish breakfast every morning with great view of the city at the rooftop. Less than 5/6 minutes walk to Hagia Sophia and the Blue mosque(Sultanahmet mosque).

Please stay here. The rooms are very comfortable, you will have a lot of space. The breakfast is good and the customer service is just awesome! People are so friendly and they are ready to help. The laundry service is cheap. Is just a couple blocks form Sophia and the Blue Mosque. The view you have every morning when yo have your breakfast is just awesome! This hotel is just close to everything. Stay here and thank me later. I would recommend this hotel to everybody because is just awesome!

We stayed here for two nights at the start of our trip and one on our way home. It was a delight to return to somewhere that we liked so much and we were given a truly heart-warming welcome when, late in the evening, we did so. The hotel has just six rooms, spread over three floors, and a roof-top breakfast room with fine views over the Sea of Marmara. It is very reasonably priced and well-placed for the sights of Sultanahmet and for restaurants. The rooms are good, clean and sufficiently spacious and the staff could not have been more charming and helpful. If arriving by plane, there is no need to book transport through the hotel, just pick up a taxi at the airport.

It was our last leg of Turkey tour. We equally spent 3 nights in each cities; Göreme, Gulluk and Istanbul. We traveled from/to each cities with 3 different domestic airlines. Indeed, you save a lot on your timing and budget. Basically, we chose to stay here due to the location and reviews. We booked our own private return airport transfer with Istanbul Airport Transfer; which was way cheaper than other services. No hassle as the reservation can be made online. Yes, there is no stairs. We have no issues with that. The staffs were really friendly and extremely helpful. The room is basic and quite small, but of course they were the cheapest compared to our posh rooms in Göreme and Gulluk. Breakfast was okay. Simple food with nice view. You can easily walk to everywhere from the hotel; museum, mosque, trams, restaurants, you name it. Trust me, you won't regret.
